I’ve been in Ericeira, tomorrow will ride home, which only an hour and a bit. May encounter rain and chilly weather but I bought a woolen sweater today! ? Work is still shit and the country is going into partial lockdown, so I’ll go home for a couple of nights of red wine with the fire burning.

Same as what I was thinking. A short ride with a mate to meet for a coffee is fine, but on several day rides two bikes put too much of a strain on things. You're never ready to go in the morning at the same time, almost never really want to ride at the same pace, get tired at different rates, etc, the freedom of going out by yourself in the morning is invaluable to me on trip. Having said that, there are people that just click together perfectly, be it couples or friends who are very much in tune and even when they're not in tune it's still cool, but that's rare to find. Going for a ride with absolute strangers is a nightmare to me, having said that, I might be planning to lead a mototour through northern Portugal next year and see how that business goes

By alone, I meant no other bikes. I do like company for dinner and a few laughs, but the riding is better with no other bikes.

I much prefer riding alone, simple as that. More so when we're talking about a trip.

Catholics are guilty by nature, always feeling sorry or asking forgiveness, they don’t do happy. It’s not a national holiday, though, yesterday was. And I’m all for national holidays, mainly when there is no confinement in place.

Great little road, that’s where our kinds of bikes make the most sense.

Great looking road and vistas, i like that. Make a note of it, I want to see that when this shit opens up and I go for a visit ? Everyone’s going the extra mile for BOTM November:

I have a quad lock cover for my phone, and a holder for the handlebar. It clips in and out quicker than taking the phone out my pocket.

I find it annoying to carry a big camera, on and off the bike, completely gave up on them in favour of my phone that is now always held onto the handlebar. But I’m not one to really be into photography, I understand a proper camera makes sense for someone who actually enjoys shooting pictures. I had all my Morocco pictures in two separate hard drives, both failed which caused me great sadness because I thought I would never get to see them again. Eventually my brother managed to save them from one of the drives, and I now carry them both in a cloud and a memory card at the same time.

Not at all, I have been in car crashes in which I wasn’t half as terrified and nervous as today

It is, taken from his 14th July ride report

So my job as a temporary veterinarian assistant saw me holding down a dog as he had his butt checked, he didn’t like it one bit as one can assume. But I used the technique I use when I need to hold Costa in the vet and it worked a treat. But today we had a cat with serious skin problems in need of a skin scratch sample and a blood sample. To my horror I was told that I would probably be holding it down, but @Sofiamanaged to do all of it with minimal fuss and I had to do nothing except hold a little bit of cotton to stop the blood after the sample was taken. I was scared shitless through the entire thing and I swear he could see the terror in my eyes when he looked at me while I was holding his paw and was evaluating how many more seconds he would give me before tearing my face to shreds. All was ok and I managed to not be mauled, but this is a very unhappy cat:

Sorry, photos starting from the 26th October until the 30th November. I’ll adjust the dates and start voting polls from now on on the end of the month.

Cool video, it’s got a very funky 70s vibe.

They are great, but I hate having them on when it’s not raining. Visibility just isn’t the same.

I love it, enchiladas

A car the other way and the worst could have happened, you would have a slightly wet bike. That kind of shock brings it all into perspective. The BMW is doing well by you, even your pictures are brighter and prettier. Less of the crumbling houses and more of grand views.
-
I don’t get it, as soon as the wet rain stops you ride straight into a wet puddle? Cool stuff, though, I used to ride through a few of those on the XR back when in was up north, anc it’s great fun.

Look at the state of that passport, @Tym, unless you’re Indiana Jones there is no excuse for that
-
Well, you certainly wouldn’t want a stale one

If business keeps going the way it is, I might just be able to go on a big ride sooner than expected
