It's got it's place, lots of people ride bikes on long motorway trips and commute to cities, this is just another thing to make their life easier. Me? I love my cruise control, apart from being great on the motorway I use it around town and country roads to adjust my gloves or zip up or down my jacket, get the phone out and onto the handlebars, etc, really useful. Not to mention standing up and adjusting underwear in hot days This technology helps safety equipment become more advanced and less intrusive, so if you're using your bike on somewhere with plenty of traffic, oil or diesel spillage, frost, etc, it'll just become better at saving you without actually being annoying.

It's ok with me, we'll just write it down as Bagheera

Patrols are very popular around here, the saying is that some forest fires are a myth, some are just smoke caused by a Nissan Patrol climbing his way up a rocky trail Welcome!

In a lot lesser scale, I can sort of relate to that from when I spent all my money and free time making my track car ready and safe to go on track, only to have shit happen regardless. Some wine helps you with that ... and some rust preventive product probably helps the boat as well

@XTreme, sticky thread?

People, Submissions for the Bike Of The Month July Edition are officially open until the 27th. Post your bike's picture in this thread: - One submission per bike will go to vote, it has to have been taken this Month. You've got until the 27th to change your picture if you want, I'll only consider the last entry. - On the 27th I'll close the thread and start a voting poll.

@Tym, what do you carry on all those bags all the time?
-
That very cool. You must have some mileage on that bike

Bottles and a hat just sitting there for almost 4 decades? And the good stuff cupboard on the left with one glass door open... Good going Pete.

That's a nice steam locomotive there, in front of that train

Do they eat other cats, or just kill them?
-
clear plastic tank is a classic, Tym, it looks good on all dirt bike type bikes.
-
What did you replace it with?
-
Stuff has a cost. That cost is either supported by you as a client paying properly for a product, by the companies making and selling it, or by the poor guys employed in production lines. Buying most cellphones will still support employment of poor people earning next to nothing, mostly in China. Regarding the virus' origin, this thread is basically trolling

You've got a picture of the belly pan, @Tym? If there's a flat surface at the bottom you could maybe cut it and fit a nacho duct to pull air into the pipes, probably not the same cooling effect but it would like you didn't take the panel off.

Well, I hope you're not counting on my visit to recreate that momentous occasion from your past. I don't remember the olive, but doesn't surprise me either.

That looks cool, and the T7 looks great as well. I would guess that the actual call to the cops might go weirdly: "they're filling up on petrol!"

I'm pretty glad that the future doesn't hold a guy jumping on my dinner table and pissing on my strawberries. Me and two dudes once drove from Germany to Portugal mostly at well over 200kmh, did 2100km in 14 hours. Might not sound very impressive but we stopped for a few times and had a couple of big stops for meals. I don't think that will ever happen again except if I'm running from the cops and don't actually care about my license anymore.

Is it cold, there, Tym? Or is it like tropical storm?

I love it when after a few days of holidays you loose track of what day of the week it is to be replaced with going to the beach day, or sushi day, or mojitos day, or riding motorcycle day, etc

I had made up my mind to not fit in the straight through exhaust colector, but now an acquaintance has told me he's going to switch bikes and has his titanium akrapovic colector for sale.... hmm ....
