  1. Well, game on, I'll be the namby pamby then...
  2. Because of snow? won’t everyone be snowed in or freezing?
  3. Pete, as soon as November rolls in, BOTM will be ours for months, or Bob’s
  4. Not bad of an idea for your bike
  5. I voted for Moon's bike, because it is the only Triumph trail bike I ever liked looking at, and it also makes me want to ride in France, which is something I never wanted to before.
  6. I am torn between the T7 and the Triumph
  7. Oh come one, I meant it as a complement
  8. Silly me, I forgot about @Buckster 's cool bordeaux colored Harley, here is a picture:
  9. Gather around and cast your vote for the July 2020 edition of the Adventure Motorcycle Bike of The Month. There's fierce competition this month, a total of 9 bikes. @alfalfa's BMW R1200GSA with special hotrod flames, riding Red Rock Pass. Showing you don't need to forego style to go on an epic ride. @boboneleg 's Yamaha T700 on a field of red flowers, surely about to get muddy @Earache's Yamaha XT1200Z Super Teneré, long distance and high altitude dirt rides are their thing. A proper sky over it. @Grasshopper's Ride 's trusty Bagheera, a Royal Enfiel Himalayan exploring dirt roads in search of scenic lakes @MooN 's Triumph Tiger 800 XC on a rural France rideout @Pedro 's BMW R1200GSA, my own bike on a scenic view of the ocean south of Lisbon @Specs ' CCM GP450 Adventure, bringing Dakar flair to the UK, on a rare sunny day @Tym 's Kawasaki KLR 650, Team Green proudly showing off it's new fuel tank on a ride to the beach @XTreme's Suzuki V-Strom 650 visiting an abandoned and possibly haunted train station in deserted Spain
  10. This evening I'll start the poll on this, any last day submissions?
  11. Another guess is that people came from england and london and named it that, before building those buildings?
  12. On the 1150, being a dry clutch, I used to put 10w60 Castrol, a motorsport oriented oil for M car engines, worked great with smoother engine and no consumption.
  13. He was just baiting you, all bikes are Harleys
  14. Oil makes a huge difference. when I drove a track car, it was a small 1.9 liter 4 cylinder being driven hard on a fast track. Oil temp would get to 140° on fast laps, and I used to do that for an hour straight before stopping, a few times per day. On that car I used Silkolene, Castrol worked as well. Everything else would go warmer and come out darker. Silkolene would come out looking the sane as going in. On my bike and the previous 1150, I put Castrol or BMW branded stuff while it was being done on the dealership, up until a couple of years ago that used to be Castrol. This bike doesn’t use oil, but if it starts in the middle of a trip you can find Castrol anywhere, and although you can mix same grade synthetic oils I don’t like to.
  15. I’ve got a similar one, works great indeed.
  16. @Tym, is it still a race if the other guy isn't aware?
  17. Can’t disagree with that, but don’t you agree that sometimes people really don’t see you?
  18. Are you trying to not get noticed?
  19. I know, that’s what I meant about not imagining touring on a single...
  20. Right, I forgot that was an XT, but I was thinking of not having ridden a 500 or 600. To be honest, the only one I'm curious about right now is the 700, after the GS I can't even imagine touring on a single
