  1. @Tym, just eat your greens ffs, you’re like 60, shit will start to bite back. You’ll fart more but live longer.
  2. I used to ride through mud too, got old quick. You don’t have a choice, though, I think? Do you know what dust is?
  3. Ever watched popeye on tv, @Tym? he could lift a bike, he could!
  4. My bike’s plenty large, almost couldn’t turn it around inside a fucking castle today!
  5. Nice to see actual fields being put to use, you live close to one of Spain's most important farming locations, I was wondering where all the stuff grew.
  6. That's a tourist trap, actually, they push the goats up the tree and keep them there. You can see they made some platforms for them to stay on. However, up in the mountains you'll see goats actually run up and down trees. I'll post a Morocco report one of these days, when I get the heart to do it, and there will be a small video of those.
  7. Well, I don't think I eat weird food, but you lot might, so I'll dig some stuff up, mainly from Morocco maybe.
  8. Does he wash his little bike as well?
  9. Well, I've got a couple of good ones today, including the biggest scenery I've ever seen in Portugal
  10. Me, having breakfast and about to go out for some touring
  11. ZXR, then? It was faired and had the intake tubes coming from the fairing over to the intake. I'm clueless, looked pretty old and in very good condition.
  12. This Versys 1000, I've no doubt it's a great bike but by god it's bloody ugly. How can kawasaki make such cool bikes sometimes and then turn around and make hideous beasts the next day? Only bike I would buy for being pretty alone in the retro Z900, how can they make that and this at the same time?

@boboneleg, that's the only "road" KTM I ever liked. I test rode a 950S around Porto when they first came out and fucking loved it, felt like an enduro bike on cocaine. If I ever own a KTM, please let it be a 990.
  14. I would hate to think what brits call spaghetti bolognese, it's either spaghetti bolognese or it's not, the brits have no right in messing with pasta recipes
  15. Nice roads there. Out of curiosity, what kind of tools do you refer to? Tire puncture kit? I never think about that kind of stuff, I carry stuff on proper trips but not when on a day trip.
  16. Yes, that's the only way to work on vines and have any method regarding harvesting. There are millions of these steps built, from way back when. I mean proper old, like 1700 years ago Makes for a very unique landscape. On other news, I liked this place so much, and appreciated the food so much, that I got to talking with the owner and I offered to bring my organ tree and plant it here. On my last trip to Morocco my girlfriend collected a couple of argan seeds from the ground and I planted them. One of them has been growing for over two years now, in a largish pot. It's a slow growing tree that might eventually get pretty great and majestic, so I would rather it would get to grow on proper soil, since the only ground I own is right next to my house the tree's roots might damage my basement's walls. The lady is quite enthusiastic about weird trees and plants, and biologic stuff, so is happy to give this tree a home, which we will in a close future. Quite happy with it , plus it's a fucking great place to come and visit my tree.
  17. Old Honda chief mechanic once told me that was his favourite Honda engine ever, from a quality point of view. Great riding, Bob, little bit too muddy for my taste but quality stuff. How much do you weigh? Do you like the CRF's stock suspension for that stuff?
  18. Freixo de Espada à Cinta, check on google maps. Spain is on the other side of that river right there.
  19. I like it too. Don’t know about all that wet dirt on those tracks, though
  20. I don’t know what a spagbol is, but good food is good regardless of meat and vegetable content. You eat, smile, and say thank you
  21. It’s not a lake, it’s the Douro river. As a curiosity, it’s the world’s oldest wine making demarcated region. Like, proper old, before Rome I think
  22. Thanks, to be honest I stopped a lot more to take pictures than I would have if not for this forum A great ending to a great afternoon
  23. The ride today, if you want to check it in google maps, it's lacking a little detour but pretty accurate
