You think that’s how his parents named him @Buckster? wasn’t aware that was his real name

Wasn’t there a thread called stuff you should ignore for this shit?

Threads in this forum are like working in a lab with bacteria, you drop something in a petri dish and watch as it turns green and then develops a personality and tries to take over stuff.

Is that heaven, afterlife, or Canada?

One of the best car driving memories I have is causing a row of Tour de France style cyclists to go down like a house of cards. Approaching the roundabout they were negotiating using a very racy line on a very wet road, I act surprised and only stop right behind the white line (where you should stop), this caused just enough of a distraction for the leader to weave a bit, the leader caused the second guy to brake and slide off, and this caused the following 5 or 6 guys to do the same. All this and I'm stopped looking at them laughing, without having entered the roundabout.

Fuck road cyclists!

It wasn't that slow, just had trouble getting out of it's own way accelerating from stopped, cruised at 80kmh and maxed at 90kmh. Perfectly ok except for fast roads, which wouldn't exactly be the main use for someone buying that scooter.

Met a brit on the ferry with one similar to this. Noticed his old school looking tires and was surprised to see an 18 inch wheel in the front. When I asked if he had a nice tire choice in that size he simply said "no, only shit tires in this size"

I think none of that here, none of the biker culture you had as I think being a biker simply wasn't a thing. In the 60s and up to 1974 Portugal was a very conservative dictatorship, "God, Country and Family" was the motto and taken seriously. Political and vice police and censorship meant acting tough on motorcycles would see you ending up worse than being banned from a pub. Mostly I think bikes were a working man's mode of transport to go to work and back, surely there must have been tough guys, and guys enjoying motorcycles even if only 50cc, but I don't think motorcycles were a symbol of anything except not having money for a car. Having said that, I was born in 1981 so what do I know

It was a girl's bike, literally, had no front brake so I took it for a service, turns out it's so slow it doesn't need one. Surprised me how slow it was, it was just a 50cc, but I was expecting it to zoom out of stoplights, it didn't.

Just for thought though, consider that that is very relative to where you were living in back then. A big bike like all those brit bikes that blue collar broke undesirables were riding in the UK were a rich man’s bike in Portugal and Spain, and maybe Italy too. Here if you were riding a 500 or 600 Triumph before 1974 that meant you were either a person with plenty of disposable income or had rich parents, usually older gentlemen or rich kids. Brokies used to ride 50cc national made bikes, now that was properly dire! I don’t think they were undesirables though, just broke.

By any photo you like, define like !

I had a very hard time going back to normal indicator switches after my 1150. You’ll appreciate them on longer rides with bulky gloves.

Try it and give it a go. I recognise that going from a gs adventure to one of those was maybe a big shock

Nope, no time for that knowledge of here, he is just a drama queen and over reacted to this place as he did to his insignificant bike issue.
