  1. Been meaning to ask you: my macbook air is 9 years old now, it’s not led an easy life since it’s been a passenger on most of my touring and most weekend rides, including all the extreme heat that goes with often going to southern Portugal inside a plastic box. It got a new battery 3 or 4 years ago, but is starting to need another, I never felt that the replacement matched the original. Now, I’m determined to make it last 10 years of use, and it will, but after that would there be a rebuild that should be done or am I better with getting a new faster better one, will it in fact be better? There’s things that will start to fail slowly on this one, like the charging port magnet, the left caps key, plus it could do with being faster connecting to wifi and dealing with the windows modulator that I use to update an excel spreadsheet from a spanish server. It could be the spanish server fucking it all up, for being spanish, but it’s also a 9 year old laptop on this side. The question, new macbook air when this one turns 10? It’s got cool stickers you see
  2. Pay no regards to this welshman, @Tango, the twat fell victim to his own self grandiosity and needed the collective to beg his exalted illuminated self to stay and lead us towards the light. So he left, entirely on his own. The ride report section will never be the same, though.
  3. Oh poor you! Your street cred … amongst the gays?
  4. I like that Kove guy, he’s a true Dakar enthusiast. He’s hands on running around the paddock trying to support everyone. Doesn’t make up for the first mirror he tried to get out didn’t come out.
  5. Can you comfortably work inside the steel garage or is it weather dependent?

    Van action ...

    Quite the climax
  7. Where would you go, though?
  8. I am curious, every manufacturer of big trail bikes has thought steel is the right material for frames and rear frames and overall ruggedness. Then comes Kove and, because lightweight …

That’s Spanish. I agree, ugly language, but they know how to cook rice.
  10. It´ll give him something to do when he gets there.
  11. Praise to you though, for still going to trackways. Picture dealing with all that with a broken arm or leg.

That's just a little boring, Marcel. Turn off the sound and look at this instead: Or easier to get right, but wet.

sauted, and into a nice paella style rice, or sauted and with pasta, or just slice them in half and grill on coal.

I suspect you boil them, too. What a way to ruin what can be a very fine meal.
  15. No, no he didn't, Bob!
  16. Oh you can joke about whatever you like, always. But my question is, why would you?
  17. I didn't mean it as a joke, why would you like to mess with stuff that helps people deal with hardship and pain?
  18. Happy birthday! Do you get nice curry places where you live? In Portugal, although we had Indian colonies and there are Indian and Pakistani immigrants there seems to not be that many good Indian places.
  19. Nitron is nice stuff! I have never met a person that switched for them (in track cars) that had anything bad to say about quality. They were my first choice for the GS, I feel like I should have tried harder to get them.
