A video link to a funeral?

We started on whatsapp instead on normal forum messages because he wanted a live video chat to figure out how to take the sidecases off on his GS1200. He knew they came off because he saw the dealer doing it, but those two differently coloured levers were a step too far once by himself

I sent Pete a Whatsapp, same as ever, when I knew he got taken to hospital, and he replied. Then the next day, yesterday I asked how he was doing and there was no reply. I didn’t bother him because he probably needed the rest and I knew his son was flying in. Then last night I started to worry because he usually replies, so this morning I asked if he was better and his son Scott replied to me saying Peter had passed yesterday. I asked for no further details. In times like these I choose to leave people be and managed their affairs. Scott is now probably dealing with Pete’s company, his brother, Allison ( who is a jewel), and I prefer to not add to that burden. from the timing I assume his funeral is either today or tomorrow, I can ask for you if you want to attend.

That wasn’t my video. I was in fact drinking though.

I’m sorry to say that Pete has passed away yesterday. I didn’t ask for details, but got this from Scott, Pete’s son.

Yesterday’s light flash explained, very cool

It crashed into the atmosphere over Portugal, several explosions happened, we heard one of them.

Was at a friend’s place talking on the balcony and the sky lighted up brightly for a few seconds about an hour ago. Think it must have been a meteor as it happened all over Portugal. You had that too in the uk? Cool stuff, mostly because it wasn’t followed by everything being blown by melting winds

I´ve got a friend with a 120000km Multistrada, from maybe 10 or 12 years ago. It's done fine (granted, not in the UK or salty roads) except the odometer only goes to 99.999km

I've been to zoos, they're usually quite calm compared to that.

On other news, my laptop seems to have gotten the hint and battery life seems to have improved significantly.

Might not make economical sense, but I would take that to a radiocontrol car shop if you want someone to replace the batteries or find a similar unit.

I don’t get these chinese bike news. Instead of stating facts like weight and torque, they go on about how big of a manufacturer they are and what business partnerships they have.

kTM have got that 220cm tall test rider again, he’s worth it just so people can’t judge how big a bike really is from leaked spy pictures
