Got the Quadlock on my bike. Quite impressed with it, expensive but well made. Still waiting for the damper but the lock itself holds the phone well. I am looking forward to using it.

Went out to wash my car today, the Mrs walks past and said you can do mine as well. Ok I say then she proceeds to get in my van and go to work with all my car cleaning kit in it, never mind I can do a morning on the puter as my punishment

I am pretty sure she is just busy.

Fuck me, wild boar, that would ruin your day. We got some suicidal sheep and deer but no wild boar.

I was thinking that. what happened this weekend ? Have you ridden your Honda in the dark yet? I took mine to work Friday night, bloody impressed with the headlight.

All true but has gotten considerably worse post Covid.

Well, the management answer would be lack of clinicians and drivers, which is true to a point, and there are reasons. But realistically they spunked a big chunk of our yearly budget on agency staff to look after sun burnt entitled Holibobs, so cut cars to save money over the quieter months. The truth is somewhere in the middle I suspect. The result is the same end of life patients waiting in distress plus many others often in pain not getting the care they need in a timely manner. I won’t go on because I could fill pages. Thank goodness I have choir and a bit of fun tonight so I can forget about it until next Friday.

Well just woke up from a pisser of a weekend at work. I work for the 111 out of hours Dr's service, anyway we normally have seven cars that run overnight with a clinician and driver in each to cover the county, and just about manage. Friday we had five cars Saturday and Sunday we had three cars, absolute nightmare, many people in need waiting hours longer than they should have and many not been seen at all. Absolute shit show. Poor service with staff run ragged.

I can see the sense in that but I always have two phones as I explained above, I also have two redundant Iphone 8+'s, a 7, a 6s and a SE. So already have several candidates to use for nav so that I can keep my good one in my pocket.

That is my Kady's ambition, and what she is studying for at Duchy College.

They should be made of solid gold for what it cost for her to win them.

She wanted those blue LEDs instead, I know its a bit dark but the stage is set for her, she loves it like that. I think she would like to be a Goth but that doesn't chine with her horse obsession.

Finished my Daughter’s room for her. Hope she likes it. She did chose the colour. Ready for her to dive in her pit in a few minutes after a week away at College

I have all my work gear in it for my shift later. Just an experiment to see how I liked it. I don't.

Just been out for a mini Bimble to accompany my mate on his maiden trip with his CB. We popped up to Dameralls to see the new Reg bikes going out. 47 going out over the weekend apparently. Anyway I had to bite my tongue as my mate said that his fingers were cold but his palms were fine with his heated grips going. I didn’t have the heart to tell him. . Anyway he has the first 25 miles on his bike now. That tail bag is a pain, don’t know how often I will use that. Think I prefer a rucksack.

The salesman Damerells advised me not to get the Honda grips, the ones I have would have been £200 fitted and work perfectly. I didn't pay as they were part of the deal buying the bike. From what the salesman was saying the Honda grips only heat where your palms sit not all around the grip. Don't know more than that just what he told me. I didn't repeat that story to my mate as he wanted the Honda ones and paid the premium for them.

Not done that much this week as I have been decorating my Daughters room while she is away. I did pop up to my mates house, so managed just 30 miles this week. I am taking it to work tonight. MPG is hovering around 85 mpg, but I haven't commuted much with it yet, so that is just local, I reckon it will go up when I am. regularly commuting. I was having a laugh with my mate who has a Indian Scout, CB500F and Yamaha TY. He won't ride the Scout cause he wants to keep it spotless and the milage down, he bought the CB last November and hasn't done one mile yet as he doesn't want it to get salty and he won't ride the TY cause it's to slow for the road. He is telling me he needs to get an old beater to save the CB that he bought to save the Scout. The reason I mention it is he is always asking me how I am getting on with my CB as he won't ride his. He also told me his CB stands him £6800 after all the farkles he got for it. £400 for Honda heated grips .
