I remember a clip that was circulating a few years ago with the Iranian women rugby team playing the Australian women. The difference was that Australia fielded a 6'2" trans women, who went on to flatten the Iranian team who were an average of 5'4" . Didn't seem very sporting to me. A trait that if continued would exile biological women from the women's game.

And a max 500km per year cap -
Thats how its pronounced though. The music would have suited him, he was a big fella, when in his 80's he was still 6'3".

No my father in laws name was Ike Fuge. Look closer no D.

Clever and massively talented I would agree with, as to the other stuff you never met my father in law. or my Dad for that matter, angry impatient little fucker at the best of times . My mate Louis, who built the boats in the pictures , is a genius with wood or with an oar in his hand, pretty much as human as the rest of us anywhere else. I could tell some tails but so could he so I will keep quiet. Here is the sign that was on my Father In Laws shed. My Mrs rescued it and it’s been on our wall for 20 years.

Cool just ordered a Quadlock mount and case so I should be sorted. Thanks for the feedback.

Cool that's good to know. I have a second phone, older iphone, that is one of the kids cast off. I always take a second phone to work as I have many access codes for different bases that I am not suppose to write down so I keep them in my phone, I am paranoid that a phone issue could leave me unable to work, so I carry a second phone, my daughter calls it my burner phone. That could be a good candidate to set up as a nav phone for my bike, as I always take it with me for work so I am used to carrying two.

Went up to look at my mates CB with a Honda main stand. Took a couple of photos and measured the spring. 185mm with the stand up. 3mm wire used. But he did give me a spare spring he had, not specifically a Honda one but it may work, if it doesn’t I have found a website where I can order a stainless spring.

I agree, I think that being a Mod is like committee service, has to be done by someone but a thankless task. Always someone wants to moan. I have done it in the past I would not in the future, thanks to Bob and Buckster for your efforts., I think you are smashing it with your less is more approach. Now I am going to wash my face after the brown nosing

Any sage like advice, I want a phone mount to go on the CB's bars. I have an iphone 12 so guess vibes are an issue. Just want something easy to use that will take the phone in a case so I can use it for nav. Not that worried about weather protection as I don't envisage leaving the phone out in the pissing rain.

This is what my mate Louis does for a living, 32' Cornish Pilot Gig This is his latest commission that is bound for Ireland. He did tell me what it is but in one ear out the other. A work of art just the same.

Looking good, I would love to be able to do that sort of thing. My father was a boat builder and that was the sort of thing he did when his real work was slow. I can do it but not with the speed or immense skill he had. Problem here is real seasoned timber is prohibitively expensive for any sort of home projects. Funnily enough my father in law was also a boat builder and a very clever man, I have a good friend now who still does it. I'll find some pictures of his stuff. I think he is a genius.

Jesus H Chroist that was cold, just got back from my mates house. I popped up there a few hours ago in the sunshine, didn’t bother with my over trousers as I only was going for a chat 4 cups of tea later rode home as the sun is going down. Can’t feel anything below the waist at the moment, the heated grips played a blinder though.

Luckily for me all the woodwork in her room is varnished so will come up with some sugar soap. I can deal with painting a empty room, I worked with a painter and decorator for a while years ago, that is fine but when you are moving furniture all the time and stuff it grips my shit. Also my daughter told me the room was spotless and tidy ready for me, she did not tell me the truth. She is away at college for a week so I just have to deal with it. There will be moaning on her return.

Today I have mostly been painting my eldest daughters bedroom. I fucking hate painting, so in a grumpy stop at the moment. They have all left me well alone. Going up my mates after dinner to measure a couple of things on his CB500F, with a view to farkling mine a little. Then more painting

Pleased to hear a positive outcome. Any pictures of you in a Nurse outfit then?

Church Of MO: 2009 Victory Vegas 8-Ball Review
Saul replied to Peon Maface's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
I have always been a bit snobby about Hondas but I have changed my mind to a degree. I like the aircooled CB1100 or a CRF250. If I am honest what I have really suits what I want a bike for. I quite like the Yam XSR's or the new Honda 750 Hornet but I won't change what I have or buy a second bike, too much else to do with my time. And I still look longingly at RE and BSA 650's, plus aircooled BMW's Each to their own it's just what I like. -

Don't drag me into your squabbles Pete I do like my bike though, so no I haven't fallen asleep -
I love this. Back in the day when I used to do a little of that, one of my mates couldn't afford a dirt bike and went everywhere with us on his Yamaha RXS100 with an old knobbly on it. This video reminded of that, in fact I had almost forgotten about it.

Glad I didn't pay for it. I saw the Badou Jack fight live but we had a an Urgent Call so had to work during the main event so I watched it this morning. The commentary was bloody awful..
-
No way they are getting £19.95 out of me, if I wanted that sort of thing I could watch re runs of Strictly

This supposed to be the script for the fight, sounds like complete bullshit but be interesting to look at it after the fight.
