Been grocery shopping today which is stressful and expensive so needed to de stress. So went out for a mini bimble. Just down to Golant and back but feel much better for it.

Bought more as a show off talking point rather than something to use

Just set off the SOS function on my Apple Watch. Wants to know if I had a fall and if it needs to call the emergency services What actually happened was Little Bits attacked me Kato style, hiding and jumping on me as I walked past.

New bit of garden art, well old primary school project for Little Bits that has been booted out of the revamped conservatory. Lots of competitive dad stuff back in those use days. Twas a Viking study so I made her a battle axe and shield. Dunno what happened to the axe.

I quite fancy doing some of his tours, I would probably try his Postie Bike Day to start with as it sounds like a laugh and it would be a good way to see if we got along.

I do like this chap and his outlook on life. One of life's Bimblers although he has done some epic international trips.

I worked as a small projects builder and Gardener/handy man for 6 years before my current job. I have put several of those Yardmaster sheds together, I agree they are a pain in the ass.

How to fix a pellet burner ?
-
I think that is a very good idea. I might start a shed building thread as that is my next task. Now the weather seems to be improving I want to get on with it.

She will feel the heat in the summer and the cold tonight. I tried to tell her but 15 year olds won't listen. She is so obsessed with having her own room away from her sister, who is an angel in comparison. Mind you I have to give her credit she has worked her backside off sorting the conservatory as it has been a tack room/dump room for at least the last three years. We are researching repairing the blinds at the moment as some of the clips are broken. They gotta be 20 years old.

Today I have been mostly swearing at my fecking Metabo mitre saw that decided to give up the ghost just when I needed it. Pretty sure it can be fixed but didn’t have the time so had to resort to an antique that was my Dads to get the job done. Anyway fixed Little Bits bed so at least she is happy.

Dunno mate, they turn over a lot of bikes there so it wouldn't surprise me if it was gone by the time I get up there next Tuesday. They had one exactly the same as mine in the showroom a couple of weeks ago, same colour same year similar miles and that one has gone. It's a very popular bike no matter how much hate they get on here, you see loads of them around.

Haven't had much chance to ride so far mate, I picked it up last Friday and did around 40 miles, then worked all weekend and spent what spare time I had watching the 6 nations. My youngest is being a bit full on at the moment and has a bee in her bonnett about turning our conservatory into her room. To be honest I don't mind as the conservatory itself has been a dumping room for the last two or three. years. She has been at it for days and working bleddy hard so I am duty bound to help her out. Looks like I am building her a bed base today and helping her paint it. On top of that my choir has a concert this Saturday and I have a solo part that needs practice, tis all go, so long story short I haven't ridden the CB much. Damerells have been on the phone and I have booked the CB in next Tuesday to have heated grips fitted, that was part of the deal but they didn't have the right size ones it stock so I chose to pick the CB up rather than wait. Hence why it has to go back in. don't mind thoough they have a great Cafe up there so can take the bike up have my dinner while they work on it then pop over to Newquay or Padstow for a bimble when they are finished.

Me to I love a drop of port.

It’s entirely plausible given both teams form. I’m looking forward to it.

That’s interesting Bob, reset my sights to not buying a CRF250 then
-
I enjoyed both games, I think the scores didn’t really tell the tale of either game. Both France and Wales played reasonably just the Irish are the best at the moment and Scotland are well in form. Wales have some very good youngsters coming through, especially those two lads from Exeter. Be interesting to see how England go against Italy tomorrow.

I have had the same conversation with myself about a DT175MX and a TS185ER , I would love one of either but doubt I would ride them much. I quite fancy a CRF300, but doubt I would use that much, yes I would have a play but just haven't got the time to make the best of something like that.

Yep well remembered I had an XS 750, don't remember it being that bad, bit heavy and slow but okay and looked cool to my eyes. At the time most of my mates had Super Dreams and GSX250's so it didn't matter as my XS was way better than what they had. When the GS550's became popular I got rid of the XS, the GS550 was a much better bike in every respect as I remember.

I remember the DT250 being a bit big and cumbersome compared to the DT175. If remember correctly the DT125 and DT175 were the same bike except for engine displacement as were the DT250 and DT400. There were lots of them around here in the past. I had a DT175MX and remember it being nowhere near as tough as the ER185. DT was alot cooler looking but eh ER was a a tank.

I take the Suzuki TS185C
