Yes mate it's pretty debilitating, can hobble around and work on pain killers but not walk any distance.

After 10 days of being grounded by gout I got out and about with the Dear Boy this morning. 7.5k to the Gribbin Day Mark and back. Just stunning weather perfect for walking. One shot is looking across the river mouth to the little village of Polruan. I ran one of the pubs there for a short time and got to know the community well. A great and atmospheric place.

Hello Bob, welcome
-
My clinician is running an out of hours clinic tonight. Had several in, including three kids at different times, A Braxton, a Jaxxson and a Tigger. WTF is wrong with their parents those poor kids are going to have to live with those names until they are old enough to change them. Perhaps its me with the 1 am grumps but I do wonder about people.

Jan not so much, lovely fella but pretty straight laced. I asked him if the new practice nurse was Fanny Minge, he just walked away shaking his head. His practice partner Dick has had the nob jokes his whole life so its water off a ducks back to him. I don't see either of them so much as they most work out of a different hospital base to me now. Mores the pity they are both good company.

I work with a Dr Richard Cockshot, who is also at our local surgery in partnership with Dr Jan Knobloch. Dick is used to it and doesn't bat an eyelid, but Jan, who is a german chap, thinks we are all a bit weird. Jan is a lovely fella but just doesn't get our sense of humour at all.

What a shame a bit more composure and Italy could have won that. France didn't respect Italy and it nearly cost them. Great game if a little frustrating result. It does show Italy deserve their place in the 6 nations

This is. the most exciting game of the weekend.

Bugger 24-29 12 mins to go can still be done.

24-22 it on, bloody brilliant.

I am a bit of a naus and would watch a two tier six nations with relegation and promotion. Plenty of nations to fill a second tier of six. Problem is that all of the countries in the tournament as it stands have equal ownership of it. They would never agree to relegation.
-
I agree with the sentiment and Italy are a good side it’s just that everyone else in the six nations has improved at a greater pace. I don’t like the talk of dropping Italy out of the six nations in favour of South Africa. They couldn’t legally anyway but Italy are head and shoulders above any other European nation and deserve their place.

Yep, by quite a margin. Fair play to Italy not rolling over at all. Mind you I have missed two tries already.

I won’t hold my breath. I know there is a lot of rugby to be played yet. Be good to look back at this thread at the end of the tournament. Just for the record I didn’t like Eddie Jones when England were winning, so not sorry to see the back of him. I do like Borthers and it is way to soon to judge him yet. All early days for him but I wouldn’t pin your hopes on any silverware this year. Not that I don’t want to see England do well but have been on this path many times so not blindly optimistic either

France Ireland next week will give us all a good clue who is gonna win the six nations this year, may be a bit pessimistic and early day but don't think it will be Englands year.

VDM looks a lot like Johnny Bravo tonight.
