  1. Nah done and dusted, bringing on Tizzard and Earl doesn't bode well for Exe.
  2. I know what you mean, its all part of their influence, needle, whooping, carping and shithousery they often suck good refs into that bubble, its part of the reason I can't stand them. Winning at all cost no matter how on the field is not how I see rugby values, unless its a Cornish team of course
  3. Mako isn't the force he was, got stuffed last week. I like Harry Williams but think Mako has the smarts on him at the moment, definitely in Maxwell-Keys view . Nowell is playing well. Exeter aren't the same force this year, even fully loaded. I still smile at Pirates humiliating Sarries in the Championship a couple of years ago. Mind you I am a one eyed Cornishman who spent years seeing Exeter as the enemy in the Championship.
  4. You look the part mate, robo knee and all. Remember getting the scaffolding on to play also. Very few photos of me playing, mostly before moby pics were a thing. I last played in 2005 I think, distant memory . My first adult game was 1983. Different game then, especially at junior level. An 80 minute rolling maul, interspersed with scrums and lines. Fun to play boring as hell to watch.
  5. Just seen the team sheets, no Dickie, Ewers, Simmonds or Ver Mulan, Gonna be a long afternoon

    Happy New Year

Funnily enough as I got older everyone around me got bigger so I had to rely on being a horrible sneaky vicious old git. Many boring tales to tell about that
  7. So do I, I hope Ewers goes through them like a dose. I can’t be doing with Sarries constant whooping and shithousery.
  8. Managed 8k today but it was pissing down and slippery as . Managed to go over 4 times in the first 2k. Once so dramatically that one of my earbuds flew out and it took me 10 mins to find it. The Dear Boy saw it all as abuse and got pretty pissed off with me. Got home soaked and the only way to dry out was a hot shower. . We are both on the bed blanketed waiting for the rugby to start so he has forgiven me.

    Happy New Year

Neck and back just a painful unmoving lump, remember that. Only thing that touched it for me was to nick My Mrs’s Feminex tabs or my dads cocodimol. I didn’t mind flanking as you got chance to rough up the backs but I was never really quick enough play there .

    Happy New Year

I do remember days like that. Sunday morning lying bed, thinking just don't touch me ever again and I will be fine. Having to turn my whole torso as my neck or back no longer worked. Joys of the day after rugby, normally with a hangover thrown in for good measure. Do still miss it to be honest, getting old sucks sometimes. If the neck thing didn't give it away, tight head when it mattered ponced around at flanker when it didn't
  11. I'm being a kill joy working Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon then Wed. Off for 8 days after
  12. As far as I know it is a saltwater pond just behind Par beach. Don’t think there is much in there worth catching.
  13. I got back from my walk for the day and I decided to take the bike out for the last ride of the year. No far really about 30 miles just had a look around a couple of beaches then out to the hamlet of Trenarren near Black Head point. Also stopped at Little Harbour for a picture. Tis a sort of sad place, a children’s hospice but also a fantastic place for the brilliant work they do. We raise money for them in the choir as do many other local groups.
  14. 7k today with the Dear Boy. Stormy weather boys. Bit of a lump on, pictures are not that dramatic but the sound was awesome. So much so that it freaked the ginger fella out a bit. Also noticed that our bus stop has a new theme, it gets decorated every two or three months. I like that the community puts the effort in to keep things nice.
  15. Have a look at The Circle on Netflix. I watched it last night. I thought it was really good accurate and scary prediction/observation of the social media society/hellscape that is developing before our eyes.
  16. I am not sure of the poop thing, he seems to like getting covered in sand, my girls call it "Getting his dog glitter on". Perhaps he likes to be a salty sea dog
  17. Finally managed to get out for a walk today with the Dear Boy. Been off the treadmill for 19 days and not feeling that good. Eating too much crap and inactivity are not good for your waistline or mental health. Combination of Christmas, work and gout just took me away from the right path. But today was the first day of the new regime back on it as both Odie and I need to shed the Christmas chub. Only managed 5.5 k but start small and often will make it sustainable. Anyway we went to Parbados did the community fields then a full circle of the beach. Noticed that the rivers are full shame the reservoirs down here aren’t. Something wrong somewhere.
