  1. Woohoo the van passed it's MoT today. It needs front tyres again, bloody thing munches them .
  2. Should have read 2023, posted from my phone to save importing the photos onto my Mac, bit thumbsy when using the phone.
  3. When I was younger I sang with the Plymouth Philharmonic Chorus for a season. That season they were presenting Carmina Burana, I remember those practices fondly, they were a 160 strong choir and to be amongst that on full song was something very special. I only lasted one season as I didn't really fit in with the social side of things. I wasn't really posh enough, loving the music was not enough to be accepted in those circles, which was a pity, hellofva choir though.
  4. I told my Mrs I am going to pop up the garage and put some fuel in my bike. The garage is only a mile away and I thought I might as well warm the bike up properly it would be a shame to get condensation in the oil. So I ended up travelling to Tywardreath then on to Par, Carlton Bay, Pentewan, Tregorrick and then stopping in Charlestown. Quite a pleasant morning given that it is going to piss down later. I have always loved Charlestown it is a stunning little harbour that was still a busy clay Port in my youth. Not so now but they do quite often use it to make films. Some episodes of Poldark were filmed there and many films and things over the years. The rest of the time it is holiday let’s and dining out opportunities. Destroyed what was an old established community. But to elaborate on that would be to political and I don’t really want to rant on here. Anyway look at the Priddy stuff. Oh and when I went home I had forgotten to buy fuel.

    Milly

Yes I am very impressed with him, clever chap without the bullshit and bravado, typical Brit self taught shed genius.

    Milly

    Very clever and interesting chap
  7. Off a cliff, obviously
  8. Well that was a foggy, wet and windy disappointment. Did manage 60 mph though, warp speed
  9. Sitting here with the best breath in the world coffee and Parma Violets. Obviously not but coffee and my sugary friends do get you through the night. My family hate them so I am wondering what the hive brain here think of them. Parma Violets? Yay Or. Nay (Gay). Sorry It’s been a slow quiet night which is a novelty but boring. I will be going to bed soon.
  10. Isn't Gary Oldman a Brit?
  11. I must admit I did question the logic of taking my bike last night. Mind you in an hours time I get to ride down the A39 home which is well known as a great biking road and I am looking forward to it. Great end to the shift, with a warm bed as the goal. I might even reach the giddy of heights of 41 mph if the wind is behind me.
  12. Oh dear you are predictable . Is it cause you think I is gay
  13. I am working at Stratton Hospital in Bude tonight and thought it would be a great idea to take my bike and get my first ride of 2023 in. Not the smartest choice, nothing like doing 42 miles in the dark through thick fog to give you that wtf am I doing moment. Never made it above 40mph cause I couldn’t see a fecking thing. To be honest it would have been no better on 4 wheels but at least I would have had a heater and radio. At least it will be dry for the ride home tomorrow morning

    Pele

When my choir met Pele. Before my time with them but it does make me smile. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0ds6b2z?fbclid=IwAR2oiM5ULyGlmAyPwV9-zd5cBHf72Y58lU89Dk9msSWxKjQF35lLrDYL0kA
  15. Much riding proposed, looking to change my job, get fitter and improve my health. Lots of singing and thinking of doing some sort of advanced riding course so that I can volunteer for the blood bikers. All general goals granted but I am sure more will come into focus as it gets closer.

    Happy New Year

War China vs Taiwan, also getting fruity in the Balkans. I genuinely hope and pray it doesn’t kick off but if it does the consequences are scary.
  19. One of our second rows used to take great pleasure shitting in the bath. Dirty bastard, always knew if there were bubbles around him get out sharpish clean or no.
  20. Nah done and dusted, bringing on Tizzard and Earl doesn't bode well for Exe.
  21. I know what you mean, its all part of their influence, needle, whooping, carping and shithousery they often suck good refs into that bubble, its part of the reason I can't stand them. Winning at all cost no matter how on the field is not how I see rugby values, unless its a Cornish team of course
  22. Mako isn't the force he was, got stuffed last week. I like Harry Williams but think Mako has the smarts on him at the moment, definitely in Maxwell-Keys view . Nowell is playing well. Exeter aren't the same force this year, even fully loaded. I still smile at Pirates humiliating Sarries in the Championship a couple of years ago. Mind you I am a one eyed Cornishman who spent years seeing Exeter as the enemy in the Championship.
