Been out on the CBF this morning to go to the classic car and bike coffee morning at Griggs, local country store with a big cafe. Bloody enjoyed it to be honest, met some interesting guys plus a couple of Nazi’s I know from the RE Club. Good morning spent talking bikes. Pissed with rain all the way there and back, went with my mate Andy who was on a Serrow today. He has more bikes that I have shoes.

She likes the Hornets grunt but the seat has little to no padding, small part of the reason I bought the CBF was a more comfy passenger seat for the princesses rear.

How strong was that mudguard

Total sense to drive on the left, you need to be able to use your sword on anyone coming in the opposite direction The Japanese know this

Twasn't her backside more frontside she was referring to. . Probably not the most demure statement from her but to the point as always. She is a tough cookie though and will get used to the rigors of biking I am sure.

Just got back from a 100mile trip, down to Portreath for a coffee on the beach. I went with Shadow on the CBF600 Andy on his Tiger 1200 and Martyn on his V85TT. Some absolutely determined ponies intent on the greenest grass. After the coffee we decided to take the coast road west down through Ilogan and on to Hayle. Some stunning views. After Hayle stopped for fuel the back across Carnon Downs to the A30 then a blast back to Innis Downs and home. Such a bonus that Gary and his 1973 Bonnie couldn’t make it and we weren’t stuck at 70mph because of his vibrating eyeballs . Bitchy I know but it made a pleasant change to make some progress on a near empty A30. Andy’s Tiger is a bloody quick bike, Martin and I struggled to stay with him in sections. He backed off sensibly but we still made good time home. Apparently Shadow is struggling with numb butt after a whole day in the saddle along with getting wet. She will toughen up I’m sure.

I wouldn't stop her from joining here but I don't think there is much here to interest her, she does look at what I post about her, so no secrets. She doesn't like me using her name online hence why I call her Shadow. She is currently in her room falling out with Alexa who is apparently a dumb bitch

Another trip over to to Davidstow this morning. Forecast was okish but by the time we had been there for 20 minutes the rain started. Forgot to take any water proofs so we got wet. Shadow ploughed on but after 40 minutes she had had enough. Rode up to me stop and said ; ”‘I’m out, all the water is running off the tank back onto my Fanny, my Fanny is wet and cold and I can’t take anymore.” Now this practically floored me and I genuinely nearly pissed myself laughing, much to her disgust . I did suggest her saying her crutch was wet next time, but I’m not sure she got it. I rode home chuckling all the way. I was laughing and told her mother what she said. Shadow didn’t like that either.

Another day over Davidstow with Shadow, hoping it will be uneventful. Going down to Portreath this evening with my aged Fowey Biker buddies, of course Shadow as well.

I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder but I like it. Could do with some decent clocks but for local on road bimbling about I think it makes sense.

Isn't this just an expensive CF Moto?

I reckon if they brought them here for that price they would sell hand over fist. Some decent tyres and there would be a lot of fun to be had.

Beautiful song, not sure that's the best I have heard it sung I used to sing in choir with a retired farmer, called Taff (Erfyl Jones), thunderous bass. To hear hing sing Calon Lan was something special, in fact he taught me.

Inline like a Harley parallel like a Guzzi

I have a 270 degree Parallel twin and a inline four. Love both but I do look back fondly on the 3 BMW boxer twins I had in the past. Had a triple several parallel twins, singles and fours. Never had an inline V twin but had a Parallel V Twin. At the moment I love the Twin in my Hornet lots of bang for what it is. So probably twins for me.

Decided to go up to Kitt Hill for their first Sunday in the month bike meet. Lone wolf today as Shadow is working and the Fowey geriatric bikers group have been out once this week. Anyway had a great ride up on the Hornet, love that bike. Tried out the Honda Road App and worked well for nav, still don’t really know how to control music with it or really care that much but will persevere. The nav directions came through to my lid and directional arrows came through on the bikes screen. Clever stuff I thought. Lovely old Wing Morini 3•5 was for sale for 3k . I liked it but not that much. Triumph Street RS in a nice colour

Thrown in the deep end tonight but it turned out ok. Had a message in the week as there was a Lifeboat event on the quay. 200 years celebration. Anyway my group was asked to sing a few songs after the Vicar did her bit. We rocked up to a packed town quay, bit more of an event than just a few songs. Went well so all good in the end. After there was a band called Johnny and the Lips. Apparently Johnny was the wizened up old bass player who was in the Commitments from the film. Brilliant band all the same, brass section and all. Shame I had to come home to go to work. Working Sunday night as well but don’t have any other plans yet.
