It was quite entertaining the see how the owner of El Lobo interacted with Freddie, you can see his opinion even though he doesn't voice it.

Funnily enough Michelin Road 5's are the standard tyre on my Hornet and I can't fault them, bloody good in all conditions, I also checked and Michelin Road 2's were the OEM tyres on the CBF600. So I think I have my answer. I can get a set of 5's for the CBF600 for around £250, bit more than I thought but probably worth it in the end.

I have had 2 so far Middle Daughter is still Sluggabed

Change is often as good as a rest. Can’t say I would ever buy a cruiser but given the chance to ride one for a day I would happily. Enjoy it Skip

I’m going to get a new set of tyres for my CBF600. It’s been years since I’ve bought such a thing so am out of touch with what is good or bad. I’m not going to be scratching about just want something safe a durable for my commute to work. I’ve got the Hornet if I want to tear about even thought that is rare. So I suppose I’m looking at sports touring tyres. Any recommendations?

Just read the caption both of those robots were in Lost In Space, you were right. Both made by the same guy

Mate look at your own link that shows Mobius with Dr Smith in the side caption. Are you on the sauce by any chance

Normally I end up with 3 cards and 3 Yorkies. Happened to mention I liked them once years ago . Not moaning, I do like Yorkies.

I understand that but still seems an unlikely and vulnerable place to put a battery, and you have to admit they do look like Robbie the Robots pet. Mind you Freddie Dobbs likes them so what do I know

Vast improvement. Mrs on side now?
-
Is that a really small bike or are you just a giant of a man. ?
-
I always think of Robbie the Robot when I see one, although I never have outside of a dealership. I don't understand how they chose to mount the battery right down just under the front bash plate. Makes no sense to me in such a vulnerable position.

Oh FFS, my Mrs has signed up for https://wonkycoffee.com/ pods. Tastes fine but look at the fucking menu that came with the box.

Well that commute took the romance of riding my bike to work, pissed down all the way there last night and stupid gusts of wind all the way across the Moor on the way home. Enjoying the bike though smooth, comfy and very easy to ride. It maybe the placebo effect but it seems to be riding better each time, but it was laid up for 6 months before I bought it. I know one thing those cupped tyres have to go, some very annoying tram lining in the wet. I was sort of going to tough it out until October when it’s MoT and service are due but am rethinking that if the summer is going to be a washout.

I bet they are regretting all the before match hype this morning.
