Took her out again today but it is pretty hard to find anywhere for her to ride. Our normal place is open today so we were a bit limited. Her phone mount came today with vibration damper so had to be fitted straight away.

Bloody hell Pete youm falling to bits. I had 4 stents 2 years go, took couple of months to settle down again but felt pretty good ever since. Glad they caught it in good time before you had a heart attack. . Do what you are told and get well soon mate.

Funnily enough I have a M1 Ipad pro 12.9" and while it will do lots of things well once you got used to the clunky Ipad OS I only really use it for watching stuff now, everything is so much easier on a MacBook in comparison. The one Apple product I wouldn't buy again. It's a great bit of kit but I just don't use it's potential. Not sure if it is a clunky operating systems or an old and clunky operator

I had my back wheel step out on some gravel on Sunday just gone. No where near as bad as yours but still a full clench moment, didn’t help that I had my youngest pillion. I did laugh afterwards once I had calmed down a little. What struck me was my 16 year old daughter shouting ‘what the fuck was that dad’. Haven’t heard her use that language before.

I never thought I would say this but Buckster is spot on, an Apple Silicone MacBook Air is what you need. I have the M1 which is coming on for 4 years old and it still blows me away by how good it is. I promise you it will be a revelation. Compared to your old MacBook which must be an intel machine given the timeframe. But still fix your old one as well, still a viable machine. Replacement batteries are never as good but if you could source a Duracell or one from Ifixit it would be a good bet. Bear in mind that your older Mac will be stretched by newer software and that will also affect battery life and longevity.

I may have more patience with my precious daughters than pretty much anyone else on the planet. Not sure I would make a good teacher in general. Although I have taught several people to sing since 'I have started my singing group, but that's not hard really all about confidence and training your ear.

Got to take my Shadow out for another riding lesson this morning. Due to a combination of her being ill, both of us working and rubbish weather we haven’t been out for a lesson for 3 weeks. When the rain blew through today we took that opportunity to go out. Went to the local Market World that only opens Sat Sun and Wed so closed today with an empty car park. Really pleased with her progress today. For starters she remembered everything from earlier lessons and pulled away, stopped, changed direction figure of 8’s and the like. Brilliant and built her confidence. So much so I got her changing gear today which was great to see. Feels like she is making real progress. Halfway through the lesson we stopped for a snack and talked about what happened, couple of stalls and stuff, but generally all good. Anyway after the break got her out there again and she is using the first 3 gears now with some degree of comfort. Doing well so brought the lesson to an end on a high. Rode her home and got her a treat in the garage on the way. Enjoyable day with my youngest. Rubbish photos I know but concentrating on the job in hand.

Probably and would have been twice as good and lasted twice as long.

As is Cornish here, we nearly lost it but it is coming back. Every college course to learn Cornish is always fully booked. I can sing a couple of songs in Cornish but can't speak it, I understand some but not enough to get by. Margh-Sowsnek

I must admit my average MPG does go up when I'm out with this bunch. Good company but it is definitely driving Miss Daisy spec when Gary is with us, better when he is not.

Just had chance to sit down and read this. Bloody interesting report. I would love to do something similar. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

I don't know there is any logic involved in anything that goes on there. I would have thought if you couldn't focus the last thing you should do is risk getting thumped especially if you have no skill to defend yourself. Not saying they were thinking that way they obviously weren't. Like I said initially soft twats who couldn't throw or land a punch and luckily for both of them their opponents was equally clueless. I have seen what happens when a drunk takes on someone who wasn't and could defend themselves. It doesn't last long.

I was out working all through it Friday Night and never saw a bloody thing.

I find it difficult to understand how these places are just abandoned like that. On this crowded little island they would be developed into something to rape money out of the populace quick smart.
