I dare say, but I think part of my idea for a RE twin is using it like a large Meccano set and playing around with it. I don't know if it is everywhere but round here most sports bikers have loud end cans pull away like lunatics all revs and noise then wobble around the corners. Then get off and prance around in their power ranger suits, humps and scuffed knee pads when they got their knee down on a slow roundabout. Bit sad really. My scruffy mate with his Triumph Scrambler likes to show them up no problem. Entertaining to watch.

I agree I would't do it, I think she is just to focused of a character and hard to be around for to long. Probably why she does it all solo.

Cool Bike. I have looked longing at them as well, more spendy than a RE though, I would be less inclined to play around and tinker with it just because of it's value. But that may just be a problem in my head.

I do hanker after one of those twins, not for everyday but something to play with. Allsorts of aftermarket tat to bolt one to them and play with. I would love that, plus they do sound cool as hell.

I know that feeling, times I have told her to just breath and accept that sometimes the answer is no or it can't be done right now. I get on better with her than my Mrs who finds her extremely frustrating at times, whereas it is the opposite with my son who I could happily slap around, although I never would. I do think in life when she finds her focus on something career wise there will be no holding her back. Or its the hope I cling to . Probably just normal Dad soft on daughters hard on sons and the other way with Mums.

I dunno mate, I do see what you mean but back in the 1970's where nothing really came with a fairing that is what bikes looked like that had after market fairings. I love that sort of not really mean't to be look. It has all but died out as classic bikes are being restored back to original and all the old fairings binned. I suppose it is a bit like music tastes what you start with always sticks with you.

Just got back from walking the Dear Boy, I have gotten lazy recently which isn’t good for my health so making an effort to get back on the treadmill. Plus the dog is getting fat to. Also the shock of Pete’s passing has frightened some sense into me. Moody skies Good taste in cars.

Not many of the latest BMW's float my boat to be honest, maybe a F800/900 or R12nineT but the rest Meh! for me. Go and ride a cruiser see what you think, they do look cool but not for me.

Never ridden a new twin but I had 3 of the old air cooled bikes and never had a problem with getting hot legs. Yes they give off heat and I am sure you could find evidence to moan but I never noticed it as a problem.

I think some of Voge, Kove and CF Moto is good looking stuff, not sure I would buy it just yet but they are getting much better. I actually quite like the new Moto Morini, Mash and Benelli bikes.
