Glad you will be alright Fred. Silly old fuckers like us don't bounce well.

He is just desperately trying to get Buckster's attention.

I watched that, bit grim. I remember watching it back in the 1980's when it first came out and it frightened the shit out of a teenage me.

Have you been hacked Pedro?

Well what ya doing ? Me not so much, working tonight and Sunday night, weather looks to be cooperative so at least I will be biking. I plan on watching a lot of rugby but not much else. Oh and an aside it is NHS payday woohoo! well for a couple of days until it all disappears.

I dare say but I suppose it's the contrast for me, I am usually here and there like shit in a field most of the time.

Sitting here thinking I have had a very surreal day by my standards. I haven't had to go anywhere or do anything I didn't want to. Bloody luxury. Shadow doesn't need me to take her to and from college, older daughter hasn't needed to go to the stables (no horse) and the boy takes himself to work. Apart from doing some stuff around the house and playing bike I have been a freeman for the first time in years probably. Could this be the future, probably not as big daughter still needs transport and driving lessons. But nice to dream.

Couldn’t help myself had to do it. For any potential snow foamers out there my pump up one shat the bed so I got this one off Amazon for £18, works well but for how long will be the factor. Battery powered.

When I was out yesterday my front brakes started honking a bit, so stripped and cleaned them up this morning. It was the right hand calliper sliders that were gummed up so I know I have fixed it. Did both sides of course. Also cleaned up the pistons and pads and rubber greased the seals. Good 4mm left on the pads so will keep them for the time being. Looks like the last time they were off some cack handed fuck wit had been at them. Both callipers scratched up on the faces where they had been clamped with no protection. Also they are the wrong colour so have either been rebuilt or replaced at some point. No big deal as they are fine but so tempted to refurbish them and paint them the right colour. I got to keep telling myself this bike is a winter hack and not get too obsessive. All cleaned greased and back together. Shame the rest of the bike is so shit high . May not be able to resist cleaning it this afternoon

Shouldn't this thread be Marcey does Google for you ?

No and I was around the areas where they are supposed to be. Mind you seems daft in the daylight but the moor is a different place in the dark. I spend a lot of my working hours at night on the moor. Unusual place.

Been up on the Moor Bimbling about. Lovely and crisp weather. Navel gazing about different bikes, the one you have is always the best. Bolventor Coliford Lake/Reservoir from different angles, Tis big. Dozmary Pool, where Excalibur and the Lady in the Lake are supposed to be. I will try and find a better spot closer to Dozmary but it is tucked away. Home with a dirty arse

I can see the attraction of that but its not really what I'm looking for. Also a bit spendy by the time you have the Nova done and had it delivered you would be approaching 4k. I am thinking of a 250 4 stroke twin road bike, I know there are limited options in that category but I was thinking modern equivalent to a CB250N Super Dream. That Big Boy is really one of these with a posh frock on. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/356117311860?_skw=suzuki+tu250x&itmmeta=01JAW0GW91CFMAJE5SXPYZREE1&hash=item52ea3ef174:g:h3wAAOSwGyVnAcoY&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnjGSuw5Kse8HIpunBLLgV02LXiMG47l9UNCZl4d2MttIgpZ0q9C5SMz5EDsJs9cDMYXxHLtDaGXxzbeiUc9hkcxlSPz94aaqpa4%2F%2BS5iVP6LmRLZNPhLZU%2BKj2gkYnCxaH5hPJbEwo%2BV9U2CNv63%2ByOkrUrLuxMfqXGClIf%2Bl9N2TfIoBhkAWArd1vHIPraasIiCBO17JZCfr5FBmsjGGevmqEQ1gSjsjZQQK6BVo4wFTD7%2FcNz%2BX0Gdx%2FZ52O0RM%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8bEw4DXZA

Well I have been down a Youtube rabbit hole recently watching vids about Honda 250 Super Dreams. I had a minty one back in the day and while I remember it as being dog slow at the time, compared to strokers, I did like it alot for other reasons. Anyway thinking away, if I am honest I don't really want to be doing a lot of tinkering I just want to ride. So getting a 40 year old bike probably doesn't make a lot of sense even if it is a Honda. So I got thinking of the modern equivalents available and I stumbled across Inazuma 250's, you can get a nice minty low miles 2016 bike for around £1.5 to £2k which seems pretty reasonable to me. I don't mind the looks of the bike especially the F model and after watching a few vids they seem capable enough. Just wondering what the hive mind on here thought about the Inazuma 250. I reckon I could have a hoot on one, on our local roads.

Looks alot like the New 660 Tiger. I like the look of it but seems pretty expensive, but honestly not something that would really interest me even if I did have the money to burn.

No, so very tempted to do so but she has to learn for herself, of course I will help if asked. She has done several thousand miles as a pillion this year so hopefully learnt a bit from that

Spent the day with my eldest daughter today. Took her over Davidstow airfield for a driving lesson. She is doing well, working on her reverse parking, parallel parking and reversing around a corner. We worked on patterns of 30 minute lesson then 15 minutes of playing and doing what she wanted. During her second break I teased her that she’d couldn’t hit shit, she proved me wrong and hit every cow pat on the runway . There were many Here she is proud of her achievements splattered all up the side of the van Some of her victims Good to get her out and laughing again as her horse died last Friday and she has been a bit down.

Well Shadow has survived her first few days and is loving her freedom. Me not so much, but I am pleased for her and not quite so stressed every time so goes out. Did make me smile when I saw her bike parked like this tonight Oh and my boys Nobby no mates ped over there

Yes it's a nice one, one of the last (1986 I believe) R80's with a modern 1000cc conversion. Very nice indeed. Martyn the chap who owns it also has a Guzzi V85TT and a 1340 Harley of some sort which he is currently lavishing money on. I can't remember what he stripped it down for but it has expanded to a new clutch, new tyres, belt primary and belt final drive. I didn't ask how much, I'm top polite
-
Well I haven’t seen her for 3 days. I did see the bike this morning when I got home from work so she has been home. Taking her Freedom and embracing it. I don’t mind at all Twas exactly what I was doing at her age.

Hello and welcome.
