Mate, I live in a town where a good 60% are posh blow ins. Weird/entitled/lazy/obnoxious/greedy/grasping/cunts on a good day. Know the price of everything and the value of nothing. I told one last night not to be so fucking stupid at my singing group, and I am pretty laid back and inofensive most of the time, just to give you a scale of the stupidity. To be fair there are a couple of posh blow ins in our Chilblain riding group and they are alright if annoyingly rich

Been stuck in the house for the last 4 days and going a bit stir crazy. Had Covid 3 weeks or so ago and and shook it off pretty quickly, well tested negative anyway. Didn't really feel right afterwards but went back to work anyway, came down with the mother of chest infections on Friday, or it felt like it, to the point that I actually had to get one of the Medics from work to sort me out. Anyway 4 days into some evil antibiotics, with interesting side effects, and even though I haven't slept or eaten much I am starting to feel better. Not moaning about any of that but it i surprising what you will watch with loads of time on your hands. So much so that I nearly convinced myself that a Honda Rebel 1100 would be a good bike for me. Been watching hours of this chap, don't know why I have no ambition to go camping. But I have bee strangely fascinated by what he has been getting up to. Even the fecking cardboard festival tent.

Yeah he makes me laugh with that as well. One week he was raving about Mash Motorcycles, don't think he did much research for that apart from look at a price list. He comes across as a Hipster biker but to give his do he does get out there and ride allover. On his Yorkshire trip he nearly died because he got caught in the mist, twat. I shouldn't slag him really, I like his videos but that doesn't stop me seeing who and what he is.

He comes across as a bit of a gullible innocent really, probably to do with his background I would have thought. Seeing the house his parents live in and his accent he probably comes from wealth. No issue with that, it's just he has never really run out of options or had to cobble things together for himself, that's just the feeling I get about him. No Trans Alp for me I genuinely like my Hornet, if I was going to do the ADV thing I would prolly go for an Africa Twin but I just don't want something that big if I am honest.

Yes I have been following Freddie's Bonnie saga. The guy who has it now seems to know his stuff. Funnily enough Pete introduced me to Freddie and to begin with I was put off by his accent but have warmed to him now and enjoy what he does. I liked his recent Trans Alp adventures up north.

Looks like the type of thing I want to see

I appreciate the offer mate but that doesn't sound like Hornet territory. I can get greasy, sheep shitty, grass in the middle type roads down here a plenty. Going late Feb early March time.

Planning is still very nassient at the moment. I plan to stay in Brizzle on the way up with a mate, probably stay two or 3 nights Air B&B or similar in Wales, but apart from that I haven't given it a lot of thought, haven't ridden a long way in a long time so sort of breaking myself in slowly. Prolly 200 mile days or so.

I have seen what you posted about Swansea before, i think I will give that a miss thanks.

Thinking about going up to Wales for a couple of days when I am one leave. Any recommendations? Only been to Wales half a dozen times and that usually meant getting pissed in Cardiff, there must be a bit more to see than that? Pretty stuff, Castles, coastal roads, bikers cafes that sort of thing.

I feel a bit left out I haven't been locked out at all.

England average and Italy bloody good. Squeaked through I reckon. Ireland seemed different gravy to everyone else this weekend. Thought Wales played well given the run up to the tournament.
