  1. Out on the cliffs again this morning with the Dear Boy. Stunning sky and some mental fucker fishing off the rocks. I used to climb down there when I was younger, fuck that now.
  2. Working as usual, weather is looking good so going out on the Hornet at some point also got a couple of walks planned.
  3. Think he means the Epstein list
  4. Only had my bike for 3 months, no intention of changing it. Exactly what I wanted.
  5. Out and about with the Dear Boy. Got my walk in before the rain comes.
  6. Not all the Home guard were comic, over 1.7 million of them by the end of WW2. Manned Anti Aircraft batteries, Coastal Batteries and Bomb disposal. 1200 killed on duty. Not all like Dads Army.
  7. More Nathan, I found this vid quite interesting.
  8. Deadloch on Amazon. Aussie detective drama. Bloody brilliant and funny.
  9. Happy New Year you Mudder Fudders.
  10. I won't be encountering any drunks tonight, hopefully. I have a UCC new qualified clinician, so it will be catheters, end of life type of stuff tonight. Morphine and the good stuff will be issued I guess. Old pissers and and old dyers. Hoping not to have to chaperone or help with patients. Much prefer hiding in the car doing the paperwork when to the gooey stuff is happening.
  11. I didn't say it was a logical want. I am just fixated.
  12. Just finished watching the Winter King. I liked it, bit slow in the end but entertaining nontheless.
  13. I am trying hard to get over being obsessed with getting a 1970's XL185. Can't afford it, don't need it, prolly wouldn't ride it much, but want it

  15. All you can seek is her parka and boots how could he knock one out to that, well if he can I don't care
  16. My Mrs, in photo 2 turning away from the sun so she doesn't dissolve.
  17. Ass end of one storm or beginning of the next but it’s windy out there today. Feels colder than the forecasted 8 degrees C Took the Dear Boy and the Darkness with me
  18. Amen, prolly 1980 for me but I get the sentiment.
  19. Well I am on my 3rd bike this year. Started on the Himalayan, got the CB500F in January then traded up to the Hornet in early October. Been a bit of a whirlwind really but really happy where I ended up. Love the Hornet and intend to keep it for some time. I have had a shit year health wise, won't bore you with the details, but on the mend now. My family is all good, youngest has a grip on her mental health issues and is happy, middle one is happy, as always, and in College starting her last year. Oldest has a steady job now, which is something I though I never would say, and appears to be happy. The Darkness is ok and the dear boy is in rude health so all as good as I could expect really. Had an adventure with a different job that didn't work out so back out of hours with the NHS. Happy in my work so can't moan to much.
  20. I have met several CB500 riders over the summer only one mentioned having water pump issues. Doesn't prove anything but just my experience.
  21. Minor Injuries Unit. They deal with breaks strains cuts and stuff very often much quieter that A&E and there are many more of them. Normally running their clinics between 8am and 8pm. Google for your nearest, failing that ring 111 and they will book you an appointment and tell you the best place to go.
  22. You could be issued that at A & E in the short term. There is not much to be done for ribs as you say but they could help with pain relief. Don’t be a macho tit, tell them like it is. Also for fucks don’t ask for morphine because that will guarantee you won’t get it. Chances are you will get pain relief but what that is depends on the clinician. Might be worth trying a MIU as you will be seen quicker the worst they would do is send you to A & E. As for me getting it, the old bill would be on my case quick smart if CD’s went missing. As I said very tightly regulated. CD’s and Scripts are the Bain of my working life. Can’t make mistakes with those fucking things.
  23. No end of life involved. Quite normal to use that stuff for pain relief in certain situations. Reason I have to photograph it is so my clinician has the batch number and exp dates for his notes. Plus I have to witness their issue. Controlled Drugs are very tightly monitored and tracked. Shipman’s legacy or so it is said.
