Out with the Dear Boy this morning, got a bit adventurous and did the cliff path. Couple of clay boats waiting for tide and pilots to bring them in Not the best biking surface

I bloody love Bosch. Watched all of it, some of the series twice. Cool music, great scenery and filming. Love Bosch's house. Get the feeling Titus Welliver is a bit of a tit in real life but the series is great. I have also listened to several Micheal Connolly's audio books.

Watched Holding on ITVX last night. I loved it, bit of cross between Father Ted, Young Offenders and a semi serious detective drama. Based in Graham Norton's book and filmed in Western Ireland.

Been watching a bit of Apple TV, as I recently got a free 3 months subscription to it. I am glad it is free because there is no way I would pay for their content. The Greyhound film is good but I have yet to find much else I like. I will be cancelling way before the free trial is over.

Working overnight tonight, got a biking clinician so he is good company. Tomorrow, I am singing in a concert with the group I run, Lankelly Shout, and Sunday I am working overnight again. Hope to get two more walks in and some time on the Hornet as well, depending on the weather. Busy busy busy. Oh and Redruth Christmas Choir Practice on Sunday afternoon.

Just found this: People also ask Are all motorcycles exempt from ULEZ? Unlike the congestion charge, which doesn't apply to motorcycles, bikes are subject to the same £12.50 per day ULEZ charge as cars if they don't meet the right emission standards. If it's registered in 2007 or later, the chances are your bike is exempt but you can do an instant check via the TFL website here.30 Aug 2023

Don’t know the details but I have seen ads for bikes saying Ulez compliant. Never looked into it as I can’t see it effecting me, happy ostrich on my new bike with head firmly in the sand.

I love the Ulez dinos as well https://uk.news.yahoo.com/woman-fined-clean-air-zone-van-back-of-breakdown-truck-090055774.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=ma

Finally back out there with the dear boy. Foot seems to be fixed so now me and the dog need to get the lard off. I thought it was going to rain so left my good phone home hence the pics not being the best. Shame as there was a warship out on the horizon but the phone didn’t pick it up to well. At least the clay boat was close enough to see.

I would have thought they would have warned you if they were going in, so to speak. I have all sorts of fact sheets given to me when I was in to have it done.

Theym all clickbaiting nowadays. Dumbing down and sensationalization gets attention.

I really could go for one of these again, I had one but mine was nowhere near as nice as this. Been gently modded by the looks of it. Love the nod to the original R500 with the indicators in the handlebar ends. Lovely old aircooled engine with good handling, brakes, electrics and a half decent gearbox, best air cooled boxer to live with. What's not to love. Mine was this colour, mine had 6 owners before me and none of them gave a fuck about it and it showed. I gave it up as a bad job in the end, just couldn't afford to get it running right. I have a photo of it somewhere on a old HDD I will try and dig it out.

The Spanish Police take no prisoners. I remember when the Catalans held a separation referendum a few years ago, the Police were pretty heavy handed then to. That was quite disturbing actually.

Weird fucking day, got a phone call this morning telling me my other uncle has sepsis which it doesn't look like he will recover from. Dangerous time of year for my male relatives. On a positive My Boy, who is 19 with several issues, as a result of his past and other stuff started his 3rd day on his McJob, which he likes. Doesn't sound much but believe me for us it's huge, to think he can and probably will become a positive member of society and finally make a life for himself. Something that has been in doubt for years. Been playing bikes to cheer myself up, been a roller coaster of a day.

I am seriously tempted by this engine guard and bars from SW Motech, https://sw-motech.co.uk/collections/engine-guard/products/front-spoiler-honda-cb750-hornet-22 But I don't know if I really need it, probably not. I am also tempted to get a screen but I am concerned it will mess up the airflow around my head. Currently the bike is pretty quiet at 70 mph and I don't want to lose that. I have a SW Motech rack and panniers mounts on order, when they come I think I will stop there, although I do have a Lubeman chain oiler on the shelf.
