That’s good news I was wondering how the dear boy was doing. Almost didn’t ask in case the news wasn’t good.

How is Costa getting along since his op ?

No not on my bike on my car. Picked one up last nice so went out this morning to a flat on the drivers rear. Got the space saver out and it had never been used in the cars 21 years. Anyway aired it up and swapped it out. Sadly both rears we’re close to the ware bars so it was time to replace them both. I was expecting £200 but was pleasantly surprised that it was only £141 which I didn’t think was to bad. I quite like Falken tyres good grip and seem to last quite well. The ones I have got on the front have 13k on them and still have plenty of tread left. I know the car is rwd but still doing ok.

I paid for it already mate. She came up to get me in my car so she ragged it up and back plus I had to buy her and the youngest a Maccy D on the way back. I reckon with the fuel it cost me £40.

Did my last ever night shift Friday night, but I am still on the Bank so you never know. Tonight I am doing sweet FA and intend to enjoy it. May pop out on the CB early tomorrow just for a bimble rather than a commute. I have done 4 tanks of fuel in the last 2 weeks but just commuting I need some different views.

No mate it has been good as gold, just cracked 2.5k miles since I bought it. I have a tale to tell though that paints me as a fucking numpty. Got a locker key at work so I thought I would rationalise my everyday keys to make them lighter to carry in my pocket. Obviously had a brain fart and forgot to include the key for my disc lock. Finished my shift went out to get on the bike that's when I realised So had to phone my Mrs to drive to Lanson with the key for it, 45 mins later she turns up full of sweetness and light and the key FFS

I am loving it mate, its manual and that suits me, getting fitter and my health is reaping the benefits. Plus sleeping in my own bed at night is much better.

No mate just had a full on couple of weeks starting my new job and still working on the old one, plus I had two concerts last weekend. Had little time and only managed to lurk a bit.

Just been watching Star Trek Strange New Worlds. Good for Trekkies.

He can be whatever he wants as far as I am concerned Bob.

Queen of Oz on iplayer. If you like Catherine Tate you will love it, if you don’t you won’t. Many a swipe at Harry in it which was priceless

Tonight I got passed by a patched up Hells Angel. On a big faired Indian with its stereo blasting and his pipes saving lives. He waved as he screamed past entering a 30 mph zone. He had a cool number plate HE11 AGL. Just a random encounter on the way to choir

Have you had a look at the Temu app yet. I’m quite pleased with few things I have bought from there. Like AliExpress but free delivery. I bought some decent bike gloves on there for my lad cheap as chips.

Ahem! Excuse me I’m not.

I think we are talking at cross purposes, when you mentioned lining I thought you were talking about this sort of thing. To be fair though I am wearing my Richa Leather and Aussie Bikers textile most of the time now it’s hot. Look Pete Allen keys

I have been using Richa gear through the last UK winter, totally dry and not ridiculous price.

Steeltown Murders on BBC iplayer. One for Pete Swansea and Port Talbot in 1973.

Yeah I liked that to, no show pony but a nice usable classic. I do like that era Suzukis, bomb proof motors.

Just got back from Bude bike night, couldn’t be arsed to stay all evening Twas pretty boring. But took a few pics of what interested me. I think there is some sort of squabbling going on with the regular bike night crew, quite a weird atmospheric vibe. Not that I care really but probably explains why it was quiet.

Had the pleasure of singing alongside these fellas on Saturday night
