Laax in Switzerland, last minute thing and was a case of wherever we could find a few days accommodation. Snow is so so, horrible at low levels, ok at the top. Staggeringly bloody expensive but you can’t take it with you…
-
I had the disks and pads replaced on all 4 wheels of a VW Toureg on Friday. It was painfully expensive. I’ve had it for the last 52k and this is the first set of pads I’ve put on it…I don’t use the brakes much

I had a butchers over mine today, need to clean and wax the chain on one tomorrow as its got some surface rust where I obviously washed the bike and forgot to do it. Need to take my pressure washer to bits to find out why its stopped pressuring and only does the washing bit.

Seems to exclude Norway for some reason, I'd bet the list would look a bit different if that was included.

This is interesting - https://sharp.dft.gov.uk/helmets/?manufacturer=Shark&model=All&type=1

Still a shit hole now Clive. Just with more and bigger pot holes.

So the lunar orbiters sent to the moon in the 60’s were also faked? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_Orbiter_program …and the orbiters up there now, launched 15 years ago or so are fakes too, and all the photos they have sent back are faked, and the high res images of the Apollo sites are faked too … ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_Reconnaissance_Orbiter …and the photos gathered by the Japanese, Indian and Chinese of the Apollo sites are all fakes, and the various countries which tracked the missions on the way to the moon by radar are all in on the conspiracy and are faking everything. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third-party_evidence_for_Apollo_Moon_landings That’s a fuck of a lot of people supposedly “in” on the fakery and supporting it for no obvious reason.

Sadly not, - don’t have any bike bags/ luggage & wife not interested in bikes which would mean I’d be here in my Tod. Lovely place though.
-
Currently in Copenhagen and it’s lovely. No litter, cheap public transport ( that actually works), park your bike and it’s still there when you go back to it, great bars, no obnoxious twats, no pot holes … it’s lovely, tho a bit cold.

But you didn’t think shadows could be anything but parallel until I proved otherwise. Their direction is dictated by the angle of the object casting the shadow. It’s physics. The reality is that no matter how much of the hoax “ evidence” is shown to be incorrect the conspiracy theorists will just go back to the internet for another piece of so called evidence.
-
But Zacc you thought that the moon landing was a hoax and one of your principal arguments was that the shadows weren't parallel. It seems to be one of the main arguments the moon hoax lot put forward. It took 20 seconds, two match sticks and a torch to show you that argument was bollox. Tell me again who's on the short bus?

I’ve been called lots of things, but never that before . My wife worked for a company where the MD was a colonial type, very well spoken with a large period house in its own large grounds. Like everyone else he had to put his bins out at the end of the ( long) drive on bin day. One day he went to collect them and saw that someone had spray pained “ cunt” on one of them. He wheeled it in, didn’t bother to clean the paint off but went and got a spray can and painted “Rich” in front of cunt and just put it out as normal the next week.

Hampshire, the place which would elect a dog turd as an MP if it had a blue rosette on it. Out in the sticks west of Basingstoke and north of Winchester where every road is more pot hole than road.
-
I don’t go out if it’s wet, or for that matter when there is a ton of salt on the roads. Really aggravates me having them caked in salt which then either causes instant rust or turns the garage floor into a dank mess. However well you think you have washed it all off inevitably you’ve missed a bit, or a lot. Round here the grit truck is out seemingly within 20 mins of the last rainfall, even if it’s not forecast to go below 5 degrees for the next few days.
-
Story of my life today, weather is good, go for a ride, flooded roads everywhere. Had to turn around 3 times.
-
That looks really nicely made, sadly it’s prob illegal in this country where the government decide what’s best for us all.
-
It’s shit isn’t it, bloody rain all damn day. To make matters worse the road outside my house is at the bottom of a public byway which the electricity folks kindly dug up a few weeks back but made no effort to sort the surface out. Now every time it rains 5 tons of mud and crap washes down onto the road. Need to get myself a dirt bike I guess …
-
↑ that looks lovely. Id be divorced within a month if I lived there, id spend my whole time biking, shooting, fishing and skiing.
-
They do, to some degree, but because of the damage to the UK economy as a result of us economically shooting ourselves in the foot so we can be free, they just can’t afford as much. The NHS is still waiting for its £350 million or whatever it was a week.
-
Wow, that's posh!! You bike is super clean ...
-
looks nice! What is the orange and black thingumy that looks like a 9v Duracell just in front of the rear spring?

The best argument against democracy is a 5 min conversation with the average voter. Or 10 seconds if in the USA.
