  1. They're just a slimey fungus thing, more texture than anything else. Bit like my misses with bananas.
  2. Costs me £250 last year for 3 bikes, don't think thats too bad. Apart from the fact I've hardly been on them.
  3. I'm really sad to read this. Clive was a good poster and seemed a good bloke. I'm on here almost twice a day and haven't seen any angry posted at anyone. Bummer.
  4. Hurrah, no bloody garlic, shame about the mushrooms.
  5. That's not a problem. Lucky to get 10 mins worth round here. When I had there DRZ I'd trailer it up to Royton near Manchester to ride with the Bro-in-law. Lots of areas and lanes but you've got to watch your back as some are protected with old women with brooms.
  6. Not sure kinky's the right word but you're right.
  7. I think the prob with the Chinese is the shit that hanging around the building workshop as much as quality of manufacture.
  8. Spell check didn't help me there did it.
  9. Customers car so I must behave.
  10. Got my new consumer unit fitted and the shower is wired back in. Got to wait for some bits to sort the cooker. When I fitted the shower electrics I used a CU by Proteus, never liked it as it's was made of thin plastic. Didn't even like looking at it. Very happy with this BG metal one. @Sir Fallsalot. How much trouble could I get in with all the security ties off my meter and supply box? We had an electrician form our supplier come out to fit a smart meter. He started pulling everything out only to put it back together again saying he didn't know what he'd do with the extra wires?????? I'm a bloody motor mechanic and I can see what's what. Anyway he left and didn't bother re-sealing everything. Must admit its been handy with me fitting the new CU. Got to deliver a car to Norwich in a bit so prob grab a take out on the way back. Then to soil the little lady a bit as it's mums day. As for my Mum who's in hospital, not sure what to do for her. She's now missed Xmas, her birthday and now Mother day. Told Her I was coming round for her birthday so I think she threw herself to the floor.
  11. Sad day. The voice of British motorsport for an age.
  12. I never had any real probs but they did have a habit of letting go at times. Wouldn't want them now as I doubt I'm quick enough to respond. Having said that I wouldn't push that hard at my age.
  13. No, not that good. But they did have tread.
  14. Looks like he's wearing an Ikea kitchen
  15. You don't forget anything. Good all round tyre, (get it,) just don't push your luck.
  16. Been in there many times while daughter was in Bath.
  17. Enjoyed that. Was this on a triumph? Came passed there once travelling back from Rothenberg and heading for Belgium so I know what you mean about the driving standard although we notice the quality of the roads more. Mandi didn't like the autobahns so we took some back roads which was far better biking. Hot sunny day and we rode passed a section of the race track close to the road when a bunch of very loud Porsches went passed, made me jump.
  18. I'm guessing a pick up truck never got handed down ?
  19. There's 7 of us, mum like cock and not just my dads. Being a mechanic, like swagman I mostly hear from them when a car fails.
  20. 5 pages, you lot haven't been doing much. Cooker turned into a right ball ache. It's a dual fuel but Mandi didn't realise (neither did I) it also had a leccy grill taking it to 4300w, so I'm now going to have to run 6mm cable through the bloody house to feed the greedy little bugga. AND, we have to swop its position with a cupboard as the oven handle sticks out to far and hit the wall to the left so you can't adjust the selves at will. AND, I then had to get a new longer gas coupling to allow the change of position. Any leccy experts recommend a 100a consumer box, it's going to feed a 50a shower and the new cooker which will have to have a 45a I believe? Mandi had her jab 2 hours early as she was called, no probs so far but being from up north she's made of girders. Hope to get to the bank today instead.
  21. Workshop meets were a regular thing on the TDM forum before covid. Good times.
  22. Installing our new cooker later. Hope to get some essential market chips later as I've got to put some money in the bank. Mandi will have her first jab later today, 2 hours after my younger son. Mandi has crohns and Andrews asthmatic.
