  1. Me and the misses went here a couple of years ago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oradour-sur-Glane_massacre We cheated for Poland and took a plane.
  2. Just had a quick look on google myself Yes it was the cats paw tyres on my XL. That had a 23 inch front wheel and at the time you couldn't get much else. Can't remember who made them as what you see now are copies.
  3. Think I had them on the front of my xl250s.
  4. We used rag a Bantam round a corn field and then I'd rag my brothers RS100 round the streets at night so gears and brakes were a right laugh.
  5. Not off road we didn't but I know what you're saying.
  6. Looks ok from the side to me, but the front need some work.
  7. Look fine to me although another pic would work and you don't have to be wearing them.
  8. "Cheeks is in third and coming up my rear" Yea, you're getting it.
  9. Maybe but over here the Jag was cooler.
  10. Not one of my pastimes. How the hell do you think of this stuff.
  11. Not much I didn't get up to in that, comfort wasn't that important at that age.
  12. At the age of thirteen a mother of a friend told me I could have, one like this, if I got it off the driveway. Next was another almost freebie, £15 got me a Viva HB with a buggered clutch. http://www.simoncars.co.uk/vauxhall/slides/Vauxhall Viva 1968 Deluxe 4-door front.jpg I then get to my first legal car. Stuck an Allegro 1100cc engine in with a Cooper head and gearbox, still slow. After that was the normal Cortinas and fiestas etc. Nothing as bad as your lot. Hated being seen in the Herald as it was a dog, plod kept catching me in the Viva so that had to go. Actually they took it off from me. Had lots of fun in the Hornet though, posh mini.
  13. I was going to comment how cosy it looked in there but I'll keep my gob shut as I can't get in my sheds.
  14. I did notice that "carry on" type pun but thought I'd leave it alone.
  15. As a helpful note, I always take the calliper off before the wheel as a lot of the time you'll catch it with the wheel rim when removing. Paint is pants now days, chips n scratches easy. Ready for part 2.
