  1. I used TKCs on the xl600, couldn't't believe had good they were on the tarmac. Just ok off. The front would wear off very uneven but still gripped good. I can't remember what I had on the 500 but they were shit in the mud.
  2. Got 2 vents on my Nolan, helped quite well in hot weather. Better helmet?
  3. It's not the sweat that upsets my riding more so the wet. Can't seem to buy anything waterproof. Heat from the cats don't seem to make any difference on either of my bikes. The TDM has a cat in each side exhaust so they're off and on all the time as the original is far to quiet. The Tracer has the cat in a "box" under the engine which I have cut open and removed a section to make it louder. I'm very happy with the results and the cat remains. If the TDM had the cat in the downpipes then I'd have left them there. They do restrict the engine a little but both bike are quick enough for me. Most riders over here seem to get them off as soon as possible as there's no emission test, yet.

    I know the feeling.?
  5. Same over this side. There's a few stations still surviving as homes which is good to see.
  6. Nice one Pedro. When we went through Portugal we stayed at a vineyard up on the side of a river very much looking like that. https://golddrink.pt/en/estates/quinta-de-marrocos Did a white port which was very nice, one glass wasn't enough.
  7. Sunny but blowing a goodun here. Shopping and hopefully get back to the TDM. Might take Mandi out again tomorrow or Sunday.
  8. I'd have to go for the meat dish.

    Meatloaf.

Glad this thread isn't about the fat singer.
  10. Turns my stomach?
  11. Me and Mandi were riding to Bath to see the daughter when she was at uni. We took her and my son down to Cheddar Gorge on the bikes on the back roads. Well worth a look. Bet @boboneleg could point you in the right direction.
  12. It's always been like this, kids are cruel and much worse than when I was younger. Is it made worse with this social shit that's all around us. I was bullied at school because my dad didn't"t have a lot of money so I was a scruffy bugger in "hand me down" cloths. Got in plenty of scapes but never got the beatings that go on today, and you're right about the girls.
  13. Yes both outside Bob. Seems the sun does a bit of damage then the wind finishes them off.
  14. We had a NSU moped as kids, can't remember where we got it but it died the same death over the cornfields as most of the crap we had.
  15. Agree with a lot of what you say Muddy. There's something doing the rounds alright, poss man made and not taking out as many as they hoped. I'm sure the truth will come out but may not be in our life time.
  16. Bit early for me but I'm being told of social pressure on our youngsters now. I don't get it but there must be something going on as locally we've had to young girls kill themselves, both walked into the sea.
  17. Looks ok for off roaders too much exhaust in the way for the norm.
  18. Used washing power like that in car water systems to clear the oil after head gasket repairs.
