I was gob smacked when being the tail ender for the bow off road events.
Almost new machinery being used, plenty of offs but most kept going.
Hat is off to you, thats a big bugga to get off the floor.
Think you said it started and stopped? Still think its worth draining the float bowl as the water content in ethanol fuels always ends up and the bottom of the tank and bowl.
Having said that if that carb hasn't had a service in a long while best have it off and a good muck out.
Think I remember you telling us about the Suzuki now. At least you ended up with something you have an excuse for.?
Still have your old exhaust which I cut down, not on the bike anymore, think my age is liking a quieter life and now the standards are back on.
Thinking the same way on my Dominator aswell, to bloody loud.
Made in China, wouldn't have it, especially now.
Got a CBF125m in the garden, made in India, absolute crap.
The CG125 that sits next to it, made in Brazil is much better but neither as good as one made in Japan.
Me and Mandi travelled through Portugal, Spain and France last year. Didn't manage to capture the pictures you have.
Great report as always.
So sorry you lost your wife to be.
I was led to believe the 1150 was the reliable one. Good looking bike, I much prefer that the the newer models. Never had one myself though.
No pink but there's still time. Another good looking bike. Same colour as my old TDM.
How you doing Bob. Nice to see a bench shot.
I did indeed. Loved it and miss it something rotten but pushing it around the garden was very tricky.
I dropped mine with the daughter on the back, no real damage to anything or bike thankfully.
At the end of the day the engine was a little disappointing for a 1200cc but the headlight, shaft drive and comfort was just right for me.
