Was hoping to get Mandis CBF and the tracer MOTed last week but didn't have the time.
Pissing down with rain yesterday and had to collect a bike from Caister so I tool the dominator, left it there and rode back and serviced a 125cc Forza. Great weather protection so can see why people like the scooters but not yet thanks.
Still came back the long way after taking it back.
Mandis been in Copenhagen all week and was back late last night so have no idea what we're doing after a bit of shopping.
Took the Dominator for a MOT a few mins ago and was disgusted to see I'd only covered about 300 miles on it since last year.
As Mandis been so busy we haven't been out like we used to and I'd bet the TDM and Tracer have only covered a few miles.
But the domi's the embarrassing one as it's my local hack. For shame.
That's know as a pencil coil. That's what used now instead of the HT lead and cap.
How many miles you done on this bike?
Should pull out after unplugging and could well be tight. Also known to be a basted if rust has got into it as it expands and locks itself in place.
Had a few out in bits.
Not saying there was a prob but knowing what happens with the composite pistons a stainless option I'd have thought would be a longer lasting fix.
I've polished a few marked pistons up myself to get them going again too.
Raining here in Manchester but according to my son and grandkids it’s pissing down at home. Got him to drop the rabbits breakfast in the passage.
Be dropping Mandi at the airport soon and heading home to the heavier rain.
Unusual to be that dead, hope something not draining after buying a newbie.
Off to Manchester for a fancy dress birthday party soon, and it's raining. Dropping Mandi at the airport tomorrow dinner time as she's off to Copenhagen for the week.
Are those that crap composite pistons, throw them away and get someone to turn you out some stainless. Seeing them on cars going out of shape and sticking up causing over heating.
