Now that would be "plenty in the tank".

Watch F1 practice and qually, get rid of the glass bottles and buy some full ones. That is all, oh and it's raining.

My daughter hardly touched any alcoholic drinks till she went to uni. I get off the boat to the IOW, pick her up from the train station she'll say, Pub?

My older sisters and their boyfriends music got my attention but hearing Genesis selling England by the pound in my Neighbours car was a turning point. I'd heard the main hit a couple of times on the radio but this record was the one that started me buying albums on the strength of a couple of radio hits. Or recording them as I never was any good with money.

I've got a pair of Karamors {spelling}. Rear good boots in their day but not these ones. Apparently they sold out to the people who made these pair of lovely lightweight well treaded tea strainers.

When I was working full time my head wouldn't shut down so I'd always be thinking of way to diagnose different probs. I'd end up finding the most boring stuff I could find on the tele. Nude nuns with big guns would do the trick. A regular on the horror channel and nothing like what the tittle suggests. I gave up work and I'm still no different but at least I don't have to face the garage anymore.

Two of my favorite video games from 20 years ago or more.

We'd come back from the Friday night pub outing and play Phoenix on the Atari. Me and my brothers girlfriend would would trade high scores by how many times we'd go round the clock. Bubble Bobble, me and the misses on 2 player for hours. This was commodore 64 times and then the Amiga. -
That never seem to make them long enough. Maybe a fender extender to help?

My younger son was very keen till his misses said no. He'd had a couple of offs so maybe she was right.

You live in a great area, thanks and keep em coming.

Chip off the old block there.

That's it, we've reduced him to our 1 word reply level.

Been pissing down here most of the afternoon. Got to walk daughter round her friends before it all started again. Glad she's home for a few days otherwise I'd go visit Marcel, fit some tyres and pummel him in a snowball fight.

Started the day replacing the rear wheel bearing on a 4x4 Kuga only to find I've been supplied the wrong bearing now I've got it in bits all over the garden. Can't get another till tomorrow. Roll on the evening so I can open a bottle of Rose

Can't remember that but there was no oil on it other than what was used in assembling. No many mechanics would risk squirting a bucket of oil in there other than the top shaft as it would foul up the points.

Different era. I'd agree they were some good motors then. Most cars built between 96 and 2006 were pretty bullet proof but along came the electronics.

Love areas like that. We nearly always have a walk when in Manchester, (royton area), and sometimes find little gems of old industry. Towpaths are a good clue to finding things although most of the old mills are being knocked down or redeveloped.

Them and Peugeot can't help themselves with the their software not allowing for parameters to move which they then call a software update and charge you for it.

Biggest prob I remember with that engine was the distributor. The bearing would wear so you had no gap on the points at one lobe and then 50 thou at the next.

I had one of these. Got it off a friends mum as the clutch slipped. I only just got it home but £5 for a second hand clutch and £15 for the car, lasted me a few months before plod caught up and took it off me. I was 15 at the time and yes it was also shit.

Might be a 60s that one.

Plastic body made them quicker than the capri it got it's running gear from but they rattled something rotten.
