  1. Grab a 17mm ring spanner and take put the plug under the carb float bowl (turn the petrol off first) try and save the fuel in the plug to inspect see if there's any crap in there, you can turn the fuel on to flush it through at this point, i also find dropping the stale fuel out the carb helps starting after being left for a while. When you refill the carb if it starts pissing fuel just turn the tap off and start it with whats in the carb you can turn it back on when you go for a ride. If mines been left for a while dropped or flooded i find the procedure in the handbook works every time
  2. It's not just Honda Ktm have wheelie control so someone like me who cant wheelie can look like a pro on a KTM and their traction control also allows you to power slide with very little risk of falling off, great in gravel i hear

  4. I thought i'd drag the 650 out to have a look over it to see what if it needs anything for the MOT, Battery was and is totally flat even though my battery tender says its ok so that's a disappointment for a start. Got it fired up off the boost starter no problem but noticed the stop light isn't working, Checked the but bulb that's ok, so after fiddling about a bit i find there's no continuity on the cable for the stop light and finds a break under the rear mudguard repairs that and it's a bloody awkward job, puts all the cable back checks it and it's all working but i find one of the number plate LED lights is out and the wiring is the same route as the ones i just put back so that's it for tonight I've had enough will look at that through the week then it will be onto the check wheels. bearings steering and suspension
