@Saul i had a thought how to test the effectiveness of you handlebar muffs, take one off and do your commute and see the difference between each hand.

Sounds like your living the dream Pete
-
Not according to southpark which i believe is true to life
-
Yup by helping getting bikes banned everywhere there will be no more motorcycle accidents as there will be nowhere to ride them so everyone will be safe as fuck revving them in their garages annoying the neighbours
-
For some reason i know that's from The little shop of horrors. a film I've only seen once over 30 years ago but ask me someones name i met 10 minutes ago and i have no chance LOL
-
Not used them myself Bob but that would definitely be better than block connectors
-
Beat me to it,
-
Got to admit the last time i came down it i walked the bike over the last drop and I've never tried riding up it . My mate with the Beta has just bought a van big enough to take the two bikes so i might have to introduce him to the lanes over Tintern way soon

Just pulled this photo of Pant Glas Steps off the TRF page, done it on the XR i think a trip on the Beta is needed now,
-
Yes everything has its faults even now in fact i think things have got worse over these last 20 years but the Brit stuff was winning at it in their day
-
I meant Jap bikes of the same age as British bikes in the 70's
-
You beat me to it LOL
-
I have no idea where you getting the jap bikes were unreliable from , the only people i know that slagged them off were die hard brit bike owners, even the most unreliable jap bikes were as reliable as a good British bike from my experience. When i was on a bike run in my late teens if anyone showed up on anything British we all rolled our eyes, not because we didn't like them but because we knew it would be a day full of stops to tinker or get the bloody thing going again, I remember following a mate on his triumph tiger (1970's bike) in the rain, it was that light drizzle sort of stuff but when we stopped for a chat i realised it wasn't raining, the piece of shit he was riding was leaking oil and the front of me and my bike were covered in it. He was behind me the rest of the ride LOL

This is the bike i wanted when they first started selling the CRF1000 very disappointed it was only somebodies vision of what it could be
-
Absolutely right how dare they close the kitchen before he arrived i would have done the same
-
Its your eyes then because that tiger is nowhere near any sea

I have tried a heated seat on a motorbike it had me squirming around on the seat just too hot even with it turned down same effect with car seats for me.

Our transit vans in work have that, will be standard on all vehicles soon i think.
