  1. I can start a poll on which bike i will take out next should be just as riveting
  2. Should be ok their a different tyre to the old E-07
  3. You said you only ordered the rear E07+ that's fine its just the old E-07 front i found noisy
  4. The normal E07 front is noisy as hell and the mountains will erode away before they wear out so your stuck with the noise forever, i gave the one i was using away
  5. I'm running the TXC70 rocks on my Africa twin great tyre on the road not done any off road through so no comment on that again https://www.continental-tires.com/motorcycle/tires/motorcycle-tires/off-road-enduro/tkc-70-rocks
  6. I cant remember if I've ever used them i'm sure i have so cant comment on them myself, i was just saying there three different models of this tyre E07, E07+ and E07+ Dakar. Just to make your choice easier
  7. You can get a Dakar version of the Mitas E07 supposed to be tougher tyre https://www.mitas.co.uk/product/e-07/
  8. Yup and a flock of Jackdaws is called a clattering. I have a shit load of jackdaws on my bird table every morning at 5am noisy feckers. I caged off the bird table to give the smaller birds a chance, one side is a lift up flap to put the feed in, it wasn't long before the jackdaws sussed it out and were in there again
  9. Yes i noticed that the guy who does my MOT's has one looks tiny
  10. You will understand this Pete i'm not going out because it's pissing down lol
  11. I always new fuckers driving those mobility scooters around are just lazy twats either that or the Honda engine cured him
  12. I rode a few parallel twins in the early 90's and hated them always felt like there was something missing (like two cylinders) if it wasn't for the way the Africa twin felt when first test rode it I never would have bought it. You get a compact less complicated engine with a V twin feel what's not to like
  13. Every manufacturer has lemons now because everything is built to a price, my old CB1000 I consider one of Honda's last top quality bikes everything since the 90's has all gone down hill.
  14. Nice one Bob I guessed it would be one of these especially as your working in a Ducati shop Is that an oil stain underneath it
  15. I can't think of any real lemons I've owned, I've had problems with lots of bikes but just fix them, but my dull mate bought a new Africa Twin a few months after me and had a long list of issues Sticky set button. I had that as well but not had a problem since it was replaced Sticking hazard warning button water running down the inside of the clocks 3 sets of replacement wheels due to the protective coating falling off the spokes Paint flaking off the frame Corrosion coming through the paint on the engine Rusty ABS sensor disc front and rear Rusty brake disc centre's And rust showing up all over the place on the frame That's what I can remember off the top of my head I'm sure there's more, that was all within 6 months from new but it never broke down. The best thing that happened to that bike was a tractor reversing over it in Sennybridge that took in out of the system so no one else would end up with it. He bought another one 6 months old once he got paid out still owns it now 5 years on without a single fault.
  16. I recon its age related Bob, I find my balance is not too good these last few years. I was standing on a kerb in work the other day when a jet flew over, I looked up to see it and lost my balance and almost fell off which wouldn't have happened a few years ago, bloody lucky I didn't. Falling off a kerb no big deal I hear you say well this kerb was an island in a sea of shit could have got messy
  17. The view from site as I left for the Hotel last night Looking out over the Irish sea
  18. What you on about if its too hot rains or snows you wont ride that's 8 months of your year gone and your busy working the rest
  19. I rode my bike and told you about it what more do you want
