You only get water in the engine if you submerge the bike, riding through is no problem

My eldest brother had a job working on a lighthouse off the coast somewhere many years ago, the only way on and off was by helicopter every day and he hates flying. He had to do all the crash training to go with it which was being thrown in the sea with a survival suit to get a real feel of what it would be like if the chopper went down. After one flight across he bought a sleeping bag, camping mat and some food the second day he told them he was staying in the lighthouse for the rest of the week because he was a quivering wreck on the helicopter, The next week he went prepared took his fishing rod and a load of food and lived in the lighthouse for the following three weeks when everyone else flew back everyday, apart from the flight there and back he said it was great -

Had a good ride around one of my usual routes Llandovery, Llyn Brianne, Strata Florida, Claerwen Reservoir, Rhayader and home but with a small difference instead of being wet and cold i was hot and wet. As your probably aware we are having a heat wave here in the UK but there was a cool breeze when i was moving so quite a pleasant day. Should have been perfect weather to ride Strata Florida as the water levels would be low on the river which it was except all the puddles were just as deep as any other time Similar photos to the last time i was up this way except the water level is low in Llyn Brianne You can see an old foot bridge here crossing the river used before the valley was flooded in the late 60's its normally submerged One of the river crossings on strata Florida And the puddles were worse they were murky so i couldn't see the hidden rocks in them @XTreme i think i found an endless supply of milky tea for you do you want me to bottle it and ship it over LOL Managed to get a video of myself playing in one of the puddles After Strata Florida was Claerwen res never get bored of the views along here Had a run down to Llangammarch Wells from Rhayader cracking road and remembered there was a river crossing there i normally avoid because the water levels are always too high. When i got there it looked good but when i gt past the middle it went deep felt like the bike was starting to float you can see the water line on the fork gators the wave got my thighs wet and my boots filled up with water Stopped here to empty my boots out and wring my socks not a bad place to take 5 and it was home from here
