It would still have to have a bike in it though or your car boot scene of your shopping trip to Albox would qualify

You mean they pissed themselves laughing

Every now and then something new comes in and it doesn't matter if its parked in front of a dilapidated Swansea tower block or in the Swiss Alps i'd still vote for the bike if i liked it other than that it will be the location that swings it so i do agree except for this month let me add to that quote because i really like that bike which is what this poll is about for me

They make this sound great and it would be for the individual but what happens when there's hundreds of people looking for somewhere to charge their bikes all at the same time i don't think the locals will be so accommodating then and will probably end up taking advantage of anyone who needs to plug in https://www.theguardian.com/travel/2021/nov/28/easy-rider-well-miss-the-roar-but-electric-motorbikes-cant-kill-our-road-romance?utm_term=Autofeed&CMP=twt_gu&utm_medium&utm_source=Twitter&fbclid=IwAR1JVLFNta1CXjwoviY4zsw4v5uH5PoqK3kOFvfii-2PAhrN6NwK597FxT4#Echobox=1638086264 -

I've been up it from south to north but it stops at the farm didn't look like a through road which is a shame as it is a nice lane
-
His birthday is tomorrow so i have to survive tonight and talking of possible freedom the wife has taken him to Bristol Uni today to look at a course so he might be living in Bristol for a while

You don't have to go to Spain for that i have a strong welsh accent and whenever i work in north wales people hear my accent and they start speaking to me in welsh and i can see the disappointment on their faces when i say i don't speak it

No its just fields no structure there at all

not seen him in years he sold the bikes as he was having a few health problems but got that under control and as far as i'm aware he's still around and back on the bikes. I did hear he has a CB500 now bought it with over with over 200000 miles on the clock

I'm no expert but this is my understanding of it, honing is just to deglaze the cylinder wall to help the new rings bed in which is usually all you need to do if there's no wear or damage to the nikasil coating. A lot of people say not to ball hone a two stroke cylinder as the balls can catch in the ports just enough to flake the edge of the plating. This can't happen in a steel bore as there is no plating to peel up not sure if there's any truth in this though. Re plating will need to be done if there's damage to the cylinder walls as in scratches you can catch your finger nails in or if the coating has worn out Unfortunately if you want it done properly the following is the only way you need to have a professional determine the bore size and the piston to cylinder clearance and they will advise you on what you need to do whether it be a hone or re plate and what piston or rings to buy if needed

I see their starting to build electric dirt bikes but keeping the clutch and gearbox which is something I've been bleating on about for a while. i have also read all the major motorcycle manufactures had agreed to use the same battery design so could mean a battery you can swap like you would with a battery power tool making recharging a lot more convenient -
Ok Bob will have to fill in the exact location of this one, All i know is It was in 2011 and on a ride through the french/Italian alps with Bob and the rest of the moobs, we had spent a night or two in a small village a great place and real friendly people, when we were leaving it seamed like the whole village had turned up to see us off, as they were waving goodbye it felt like when you see those old films of loved ones being waved off to war on a train station and Freddy boy here pulled off so proudly on his Africa Twin and then ripped the pannier off his bike on a bollard, I turned around to see the horror on everyone's faces but within seconds the attention was off me as Steve pulled off on his KTM and cold stalled stopping dead and falling off, in this commotion i slammed the pannier back on and made a sharp exit, it was like a scene from laurel and hardy

Yes the ride started like this with just a bit of frost on the ground The snow came in heavy when we got to Builth wells which is where we should of turned around and headed home but both decided to head on, when we got to the Elan Valley the heavy snow had stopped so we rode up though it and over the mountain pass from Cwmystwyth to Llangurig by that time it was dark and the temperature had dropped below freezing so we we suffering, by the time we got back to Rhayader we were so cold we decided to book into a B&B and got pissed for the night and headed home in the morning which was even more interesting because the snow had now frozen, good memories of a great weekend
