  1. I really like that but needs a bigger front wheel if the dog is dead this might be the replacement
  2. No but there is some workings in there where they dug into the old coal seam during the miners strike i had a look in there as a kid and even with my limited knowledge back then i knew it was too dangerous to go past the entrance yet they were pulling coal out of there
  3. Not too sure about that maybe you can ask her when she lands in spain
  4. Its only a Quarter of a mile and you have to turn around and go back as the A470 to Merthyr is built on the old brecon line across the entrance/exit This is the end we had to turn around on heading east towards Quakers yard station
  5. Was that list just about you @clive
  6. I took your comment on board and went for some exercise with me mate tonight had a little loop around some lanes i haven't done in years Here's my mate showing me how not to do it And here's me showing him how not to do it LOL We took in the old railway tunnel just to see if its still clear Why does my mate look like Stan Laurel Then we had a play on one of the old coal tips i used to train on This is my mate showing me how to do it And me showing him how not to do it I decided to have a go at the bigger one which turned out easier easier than the smaller climb because it was straight up i chickened out on coming back down though Which will come tomorrow because Apparently I've reached my daily upload on youtube which i didn't know was a thing Anyhow because i done it my mate had to do it But being a twat or is it better rider he came down it as well The videos as usual make everything look relatively flat but it was pretty steep looking from the top down
  7. My weekend started today as i have taken today off work. Just fitted some carpet on our landing only taken me a year and 2 hours to fit, it was an offcut from a new carpet my parents had fitted, it's been rolled up at the bottom of the stairs for a year and that's how long the wife's been nagging me to fit it, she must have got smart and used reverse psychology on me because last night she said take that carpet to the dump tomorrow if your not going to fit it, got up this morning and just laid it WTF i hope she's not going to make this a regular thing
  8. Me and the wife have always said that. when we went to rally's in the late 80's everyone was around our age, when we go now nothings changed everyone is still around our age very few youngsters are coming in behind us to keep it all going
  9. The entire route is about 77 miles but there's plenty of road work to do between the unsurfaced stuff to give you a rest. There were 44 unsurfaced lanes on route ranging from half a mile to about four miles long. Normally there are longer unsurfaced bits but some of them we are not 100% sure they are legal so had to cut them out for the event
  10. Not sure he is involved but this route is for Sunday and is going to be led by members of SWTRF and i think there's a few other routes being put on by SWTRF members i wont be there this weekend
  11. Not much of a report this was a reccy ride for a TRF event this weekend near Hay on Wye no photos just this video, I was behind the camera man most of the day so you wont be lusting after my fat arse. The event is the Hereford Hospice Trail (HHT) in support of the St Michael's Hospice in Herefordshire. The Hospice provides palliative care for whoever needs it, in a timely manner and in a form that suits them. In the past 3 years the Herefordshire TRF has rasied over five thousand pounds in aid of this most worthwhile charity. This was our route for the day
  12. If you were you'd be lucky to get a photo in before @XTreme closes it
  13. Tramlining could just be the tyres you have fitted a different make might take that affect away
  14. To follow on from this my father decided to have second attempt at getting some sheets of plywood, on this attempt he spotted the security guards land rover headlights approaching as he was half way across the site with a sheet of plywood, so to hide he lay in a cold damp tractor rut with the sheet of plywood on top of him. The security guard stopped right where he lay got out and patrolled the area with his flashlight then got back in his land rover and just sat there for the best part of an hour before he moved on. Again the old man came home empty handed too cold and wet to bother with the plywood
  15. I'm sure Canada has it's fair share of mongs like this as well, i know Spain has at least one from Swansea there
  16. he hardly smokes at all now I don't think i saw him have one yesterday
  17. That is so similar to where i live but obviously on a much larger scale, i think Canada is one of the few places i could live without feeling homesick
  18. Had a great ride today but only took a few photos Stopped here waiting for the rest of the group to come back as they went the wrong way. I done this lane a few months ago and thought it was for the first time That was until i got to this barn, once i saw the dummies in the windows it all came back to me but it was probably 12 years ago the last time i done it No idea what the the story is about them or if there is a story Only other photo is of Yoshi fixing a front puncture he done it in 10 minutes unfortunately it went flat again towards the end of the ride. There was plenty with Gopros on so might get some videos later
  19. There used to be a good cafe right by the ferry port in Fishguard not sure if its still there
  20. No he was an upmarket thief
  21. This one was when i was about 13 year old . At the time they were constructing the A470 from Quakers yard to Merthyr Tydfil which passed about 200 yards from my parents house and was pretty exciting for me as there were lots of machines to watch working and they were blasting rock with dynamite of some sort and of course a lot of mischief to be had when everyone had gone home for the night, But this was also exciting for my father for him there was a supply of free building materials to be had, so one frosty morning my father walked over to have his daily viewing of progress but today he was checking out where they were storing the sheets of plywood he needed, after he made a good mental note of the route to his bounty as there was no lighting over there in the night and he couldn't take a torch in case security saw him mooching about. He heads out about 9pm he was back about 5 minutes later wet from head to toe, during the day they had dug a big fuck off hole on route to his bounty and it had filled with icy cold water which my father walked straight into he went in over his head. My eldest brother told me the next day he was walking his new girlfriend home past our house at the time and this man ran past them with water splashing everywhere out of his wellies and said alright boy as he went past his girlfriend said who was that he replied my dad with his hand over his face embarrassed
