I had the 1986 first year of the gear driven cams what an over engineered bike i put over 500000 miles on it, It got me into a lot of trouble over the four years i owned it mainly because i was a fucking idiot Mine was the same as this and i would definitely recommend one EDIT just noticed the wheels are wrong colour they would have been white from the factory and no silver on the tank Like this one

What year @Clive

At the age of 16 i foolishly swapped my DT175 for a Honda CB400N thinking i'd get a better deal trading it in for a 125 to do my test on that was my first big bike it used to do 80mph in second but could only pull 90 in top i was like an idiot on it would i recommend it fuck no it was damn ugly and no dream, same as this one

They are all about 3 years old. My transporter is also a 2017 and has the 7 speed duel clutch transmission its a dream to drive, I've put 75000 miles on it so far. He usually changes them at 100000 miles i'm praying for another auto i don't think i could go back to manual now
-
I got to be honest if i was going to buy a van it would be a transit with a medium roof just for the standing room mainly because VW don't do anything like it
-
I've logged on here and been distracted elsewhere and gone away for hours many times
-
Sorry Bob We have 3 transit customs in work and they are shit compared to the transporters, we have 3 of them, 2 of them went in for new injectors at 16000 miles when we said we have another shall we bring it down they said ford know its an issue but wont do anything about it until you break down. another fault was the wiper motor packed in and we had another where it wouldn't start, lights on but when you turned the key nothing checked all the fuses and nothing battery is in the most ridiculous place to get at so i thought fuck it and called recovery. They took it away and found a blown fuse in with the battery easy enough you'd think but no had to plug it into a diagnostic tool to reset everything before it would start. I've probably put more than half a million miles on various transporters over the years and i cant think of any that let me down. The only thing the transits we got have the advantage is their mid tops so you can stand up in them and are good to work out of.

Going into my 16th year i started with the boss but got no money in the company and don't want it any other way so i'm in a good position unless i do a serious fuck up i'll be one of the last to go

Trouble is there's lots of work for electricians at the moment the 6 we made redundant in February were all working within 2 weeks so yes they can walk straight into another job so the threat of losing their job isn't a threat to them but they wont know how good they have it now until they move on which to be honest i hope some do move on it will make my job so much easier

When i was booking my covid test one of the questions the girl on the phone asked was what gender are you Male, Female or other without thinking my reply was "what a fucking ridiculous question i am a man" to which she laughed and whispered yes i agree

Biggest problem is people just take the piss we have boys taking days off because they don't feel like coming in or have had a weekend on the piss, can you imagine what they would be like if they got paid sick leave. My wife worked for a company that had paid sick leave and the workforce there took the 6 weeks full sick pay as part of their annual holidays. I've witnessed the piss taking and laziness all my working life if i ever owned my own company i would be the only one employed because i'm the only one i can rely on
-
I've worked almost everyday since the age of 16 and not one of the company's i worked for paid sick pay, as for isolating the company couldn't afford to pay for everyone who's isolated since covid started we're not in a very good position at the moment and i'm thankful that i'm still employed
-
Not for self isolating or sick
-
I'm off for 10 days now because the lads covid test came back positive I've also had one today and waiting for the results. I cant think where he would have got it when we were away last week as we had masks on and was socially distancing from others when we went out, but he did say he was out on the piss with his mates until 6am a week ago Saturday, So his night out with his mates has cost me a weeks wages which i'm a bit pissed off about
