  1. Just about all of it is @Pedro i could do most of it it on my Africa Twin with road tyres on there were some steep rocky bits that would have tested me on it. i was after was an easy day trail riding with great views and that's what i got
  2. I came down that went up it years ago so new this was the right way to go i was passing and decided to check it out. I did get a bit worried i'd have to go back up it when i came to this though But managed to get around it by going down the farmers field. I did think it was done on purpose at first but looks like they are having a tidy up when i got to the end
  3. I would have laughed my ass off as for drowning the bike i also fear that but its fear that makes you feel alive at times
  4. Some more from the trails that's it for me for a few months, i'm thinking we're going to get looked down again so i crammed 2 months of trail riding into i day
  5. Its been great here most of the week, got up to 14c yesterday it was a bit cold when i set off though only 4c then
  6. One of the other guys that was there just messaged me, he said after he waded in to help he was walking back to get bike slipped on the bank and fell in backwards as well he also fell off in a river crossing earlier last week
  7. Here's some of the roads from the ride Why don't the pano work tidy here This really is a great road it goes onto that line on the right in the distance and back onto the line on the left. That's Nant Y Moch dam, the road i'm on goes over it and around the res Cardigan bay in the distance
  8. First thing i asked but no, he was a real man waded straight in to help her not stand about laughing taking photos like i would
  9. I saw nobody all day @boboneleg just cyclists around Nant y Moch area the trails were mine alone it was great, but a few from the TRF rode Strata as well. Funny you should choose that photo that's the one i had a dab in and it was over my knee on the far side and yesterday one of the guys was riding with his wife and she fell off in this crossing he said she and the bike went right under with only her head out the water.
  10. Sorry I have the memory of a gold fish but in my defence i'd had a few that night when i commented on that photo
  11. Only sorted just before the first river crossing and the first part of the route has new gravel as in my first photo, everything else is the same if not worse. Soar has been sorted on the west end where the track was washed out on the steep downhill to the stream crossing, from the chapel up its still a bit rough
  12. Cool dismount ? glad your ok, now the important stuff any damage to the bike.
  13. Only if i catch the half hour time slot you give us to post now
  14. Good Friday i had a day out on the trails, took a few photos but just don't have it in me to do a ride report it takes so long, this is the first trail called Strata Florida a notorious trail for being wet, these are photos of every crossing of the river and some of the unavoidable puddles on the route and the remains of strata Florida abbey at the end. a good day to have my first real ride in over a year out for 11½ hours and covered just under 260 miles the old dog ran perfect even through the water
  15. That one building looks in good nick as well
  16. Yes on my way to Strata Florida and beyond its still wet there had one dab in a river crossing and i was wet above the knee for the rest of the day ?
  17. I'm offended by you thinking i need to be offended
  18. From what a few mates have told me here in the UK there's a bit of snobbery goes on as they were sent to the back out the way because they didn't fit the description
