Brough Superior Unveils 2021 Lawrence
Sir Fallsalot replied to Hugh Janus's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
I don't see the point in these, too expensive to buy or ride for the common man/woman at 66,000 euro. Probably just get ridden to popular bike meets to pose a couple of times a year because their too scared to damage their investment going anywhere else on it. -
Who is your favorite motorcycle racer?
Sir Fallsalot replied to aadesh1311's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
I don't follow racing but from seeing him doing other things it will have to be Guy Martin for me, he just seems like a down to earth bloke. and i think he's pretty good on a bike to -

Nice memories Sofia.? Only been to Belgium once, it was on the bike back in the early 90's, took a ferry from Felixstowe to Zeebrugge. A few miles after landing in Belgium me and the wife needed to make use of the toilet facilities so stopped at the next service station, the toilets were a disgrace, absolutely filthy and gay porn mags scattered about in the shitters. The wife said the ladies was even worse and refused to use them i had to find her a grass verge for her to relieve herself. Wherever we stopped we just found it dirty so got on the bike and rode straight through into Germany, what a difference Germany was spotless and beautiful we wanted to stay longer there but it was a bit expensive for our budget at the time. We did ride past Nürburgring but didn't know anything about it back then as i never followed the racing scene probably would have done a lap if i had known about it. The wife has been to Brussels a few times and said it was totally different to our experience years ago.

Nature Quest - Share Your Best Nature Photographs
Sir Fallsalot replied to Grasshopper's topic in GALLERY
Installed a couple more CCTV cameras yesterday and caught this bugger this morning. I'm trying to encourage smaller birds into my garden but all i get is these scaring them away and dropping stones on my roof- 850 replies

I didn't mean lacking oomph the GPZ500 was a little missile, it's just with parallel twins i always felt there was something missing like two cylinders lol The offset crank ones now give them a vee twin feel which cured them for me
-
Did that parallel twin have a thump to it. the only parallel twins I've ridden was a 400 superdream and a GPZ500, i found the both engines lacking some character something that i was pissed off about when i heard the new Africa twin's engine was a parallel twin but the off set crank gave it what i thought all parallel twins needed.

It always hurts when you damage stuff it does for me even though i know its going to happen and it happens to the best of us, i'm still pissed off with myself for scratching the tank on my bike with my belt buckle pulling it out the garage, being matt black there is nothing i can do with it so annoying and such a small scratch, protection is the way to go ? -
3D printing is proper science fiction shit to me looking forward to seeing where it takes us

I wasn't thinking about anything being wrong with it, i was thinking how excited i was with a new bike and couldn't wait to get on it, although i had to wait 3 weeks for my current insurance to run out before i could get insurance on the new bike, that was a long 3 weeks and new tyres on wet roads are only a problem if your trying to get the footrests to touch in the bends normal riding would present no problem?

Having brothers or sisters didn't mean you couldn't stand on your own two feet, they made me want to do things by myself, also taught me to fight my own battles because it was usually them i was fighting and that incudes my sister

Great stuff Pete glad you can spread your wings a bit now. however this sounds like a typical Spanish scenario now, we've had great weather for the last week just not allowed out to enjoy it ?

Same with groups on the trail riding side plus the one that really gets me is no tools to repair puncture or any spares but then expect you to supply them with a tube if the inevitable happens but no mention of giving you a replacement tube after

I hate going behind people in work it infuriates me, The job i was doing in Avonmouth was supposed to be a few days finishing off work one of our supervisors had done who we made redundant the end of January. I was there 3 weeks it was supposed to be a hazardous area install but he cut corners everywhere something which should never happen on this type of install especially on a site where 4 people died last year from a gas explosion, if the fucker wasn't made redundant he would have been sacked, we've also had two lads going over his shoddy work on another site for the last two weeks.
