I don't care you gave up your claim to being welsh when you deserted your country just because things were getting a little to hard for you.

Put the daughters car back together tonight, had a bitch of a job putting the rubber boot in the floor where the cables pass through all had to be done laying on my back underneath and there's a plastic thingy you remove on one cable that locks the end of it, i removed it in the wrong position at first and couldn't select some of the gears so when i worked out how to release the locking bit i made sure the gear box was in neutral and locked it when the gear lever was centered in the neutral position, not sure if that was the correct way to do it but all worked fine after that, Took two and a half hours fucking hate working on cars.

I couldn't agree more but find myself calling my 650 the dog because of its appearance and my car the marmite wagon because you either love it or hate it. -
I feel deceived you clearly said bike boots and these look like trainers but more Gay, one might be inclined to call them Gayners.

Vehicle tax over here is a joke my daughters car is £35 a year bikes over 600cc £117 a year

You lied just spent an hour and a half stripping her car down to get them out it's a right pain and it looks like she spilt a can of coke in there or something because everything is sticky i was glad to get under the bonnet with the oil. Also you never mentioned the two clips holding them in place underneath the car which i had to jack the car up and crawl under to release them The replacement part is £100 and the garage can't fit it in until next week so i thought i'd get it done because it's costing me time and money ferrying her about everywhere, the new part is due in Thursday.

The last bit of what you said is the reason it's going in the garage i just cant be arsed

I forgot to say i had to perform a mercy killing when out yesterday and i feel the need to tell you all to get it off my chest. I was riding along and saw a what i thought was a lump of mud on the road but as i got on top of it it turned out to be a baby rabbit. The front wheel passed it but the stupid thing went to run instead of staying still and went under the back wheel i didn't feel a thing but i suspect it was different for the poor rabbit, i went back to check on it and it was still alive but obviously not going to survive so i couldn't just leave it and had to finish it off, quite sad really if someone prepared and cooked it for me i would quite happily eat it but found myself shutting my eyes and wincing as i ran over it a few more times to finish it off.

Aching because it was a long tough day, knee supports because i bruised my knee a few weeks ago and was hoping they would provide some cushioning which they did but hurt in a different way ok grandpa

Yes and no its a Ford KA pretty much a fiat 500 in a different dress

All those classic bikes and cars are nice to see and happy someone is keeping them alive, knowing the nightmare i have keeping so called reliable vehicles compared to them on the road they can fucking keep them, so glad i didn't grow up when they were the only choice of ride i had to buy

Getting my bike back on the road again.

Is that white dot top right a UFO -
My day yesterday started at 1am with my daughter on the phone panicking as her car had broken down, when i got there she was on a steep hill with her foot on the brake stopping it from rolling into the parked car behind her she said it was rolling back with he handbrake on, it was just raising the suspension when she released the brake so it wasn't rolling back she was stressing over nothing. I got in and the gear lever is doing nothing but it was stuck in gear and i was able to pull it away from the parked car with a bit of burning clutch and park it out the way, it was gone 2am after i sorted that out, i couldn't get back to sleep until an hour before i was due to get up to go out on the bike. Met Gary the sun was shining and it was a comfortable temperature. We had a good day riding some tough lanes until around 3pm when the heavens opened at the furthest point from home i got soaked in minutes got home around 19:30 aching like hell and the knee supports i wore for the fist time rubbed the backs of my knees raw so they wont be used again, it did dry up on the way home where i took the only photo of the day. After a shower and some grub I went out and brought the daughters car home. Had a look at the daughters car this morning and one of the gear selector cables is broken so its a job for the garage, i am now going to spend the rest of the day recovering from yesterday

Nice one Bob I've been having the same feelings about the two Africa twins but really enjoyed riding them today same thing every time i ride them. I shall have to mention Bradford on Avon to the wife looks like the kind of place she would like mooching about without me of course LOL
