I had one filter so tight i snapped the nut off the Honda filter tool, i had to fully weld it back on instead of the spot welding they come with to get it to undo the filter

I forced my pair to learn to drive as soon as they were old enough, they both tried to give up but i encouraged them to keep at it my daughter does thousands of miles a year and is enjoying the freedom it gives her the boy had a car for a short while before going to Uni and sold it and hasn't bothered since i think he's happy with his free bus pass but it's always there if he needs it.

That's it I've had enough of painting, i was out there until half eight last night and been out there five hours today and i still have the pine end of the house, the back of the house and re-coat the kitchen extension. There's so many windows doors and corners to cut into it takes forever to get anywhere diner and larger time now.

30 years ago i'd agree, The MCC club i was in had their first rally and two of the local MC clubs turned up with guns and knives they must have put patches on all the thugs they knew because they never had the numbers in the clubs that turned up. The rally was at a place where the workforce building the A470 at the time stored their caravans and had gone home for the weekend, They set fire to some of the caravans put gas cylinders on the fires nicked the shocks off one of my mates bike it was like an over the top film and a real eye opener for me at 18 years old. When we phoned the police their answer was it's not our problem. But saying all that there was no fighting and nobody got hurt, we think they had it in their heads we were going to go MC as our club was getting quite large so decided to put a stop to it by scaring the shit out of us which they did, all we wanted to do was ride and party the club was never the same after that.

That club has/had a lot of chapters around the country and i think some in Germany, my mate was a member back in the 80's in Wales.

If your still getting buffeting and turbulent air try blocking the space between the forks and fuel tank my Africa Twin would have the peak on my helmet vibrating like hell and found it to be air coming up through there although your tank bag looks like it may stop that I made this to stop it on my bike, they are available to buy now for the Africa twin

Yes i forgot about the patches, MCC clubs are only allowed to display them on the front some can put them on the side but not on their back without permission. We were all kids back then and were looking to belong to something a bit rebellious but now everyone is middle aged and older in these clubs, i see very few youngsters involved.

Still damp after last nights rain so have to hang about for things to dry out before i start painting, fuck i sound like Pete planning a ride on his bike

Buckster paints an ugly picture of clubs of the past to try and scare you, most modern MC club members are no different to you or me and just want to belong to something, there can be a group of hard core members that hide in amongst their normal members though. Any trouble I've ever witnessed over the years and I've seen a lot is usually interclub rivalry and do not involve non club members unless you've been running your mouth off or are unfortunate to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The MC clubs i bump into on rally's now go out of their way to be friendly their trying to promote a good image now. The rally i was at last month i thought it was going to kick off as there was some fucker raging at one of the HA but nothing happened and it was smoothed over, whether that guy made it back to his tent or home remains to be seen though. MCC clubs here are just your run of the mill club anyone can join once you prove your not some psycho, some MCC clubs are affiliated to the local MC clubs and run them in a similar way where you have to prospect to get your patch. A lot are not. If you start a club and call it a motorcycle club you can expect a visit from your local MC club to check you out and try to get you to sign up that's one of the reasons the TRF call themselves a group and not a club. It's something i was really into in my late teens but grew out of it before i hit 30 far too many rules to follow all i wanted to do was ride, The MCC club i was in i was present at the very first meeting 39 years ago and its still going now, It was one of the best times of my life and shaped me as a young lad although i do think that time in the club has a lot to do with my lack of memory now.
