  1. @XTreme I'm actually using Motul in my CRF1000 i cant say i noticed any difference between what Honda used and Motul, all the other bikes are old and were designed around mineral oil so i just use a cheep semi synthetic oil of the correct specification. On my old VFR750 i only used Castrol GTX mineral oil for cars (before the friction modifiers) and that bike covered 64000 miles on it when i owned it.
  2. I think a lot of Honda's bikes are going that way haven't noticed it on other makes yet
  3. If the oil was any good the tick over would be higher because of less friction with the oil you better change back to the other stuff Motul is slowing you down
  4. The problem i have with the "what oil is best" question is the people answering that question are the ones who are making millions of pounds a year from it and their not going to say their product isn't as good as someone else's.
  5. Unfortunately not the food Bob if it was i could get around that. Lack of cash and other commitments getting in the way of my life I sold a bike to fund that trip and it was worth it ?
  6. Bob you really got to learn to pull your pants up after taking a dump
  7. I think you will find that makes Bob thicker than me
  8. Are you going to use the motor to power the wagon
  9. Yes i know but didn't until this morning so thought i would put it on here because there must be other thick bastards like me on here or are there ?
  10. @XTreme Fibre optic here as well, When they first installed it they gave you the choice of dial up for free or broadband for something like £4.99 a month, they just didn't understand just how cheap the welsh were, everyone was on free dial up for years until they started charging close to the broadband price for it then dial up just disappeared LOL
  11. If i got to explain it to you we got no hope you created the place lol I'll use images to make it easy for you. If you click where i indicated "click on this" in the photo i go straight to the comment, if i click on the topic above "Old Railway Station in Gorafe" i go to the first page then i have to select the last page (if there's more than one) and then i have to scroll down the page to the post i'm looking for. And just to be clear i'm not asking for help i'm giving it at no charge
  12. This might be simple for everyone else and maybe its written down here already but I just discovered when you click on unread content and then click on the time someone commented it takes you straight to that comment I've been scrolling through all the read posts to get there up to now ?
  13. You do realise that putting that tank on means you cant scam us by showing old photos of the bike for today's ride from now on
  14. Hardcore no weather beaten yes that's my keep the sun out my eyes and fly's out my mouth look
  15. A lot of people leave that off to stop the crap packing in there when off road. I do it on mine but keep the case saver on, it also makes it easy to check for sprocket wear
  16. Your right @boboneleg almost the same route. i was a bit cheesed off on the hundred house road at the start heading south as it was covered in loose chippings after their 50p repair so had to ease off the gas for the first few miles
  17. Not sure what the coppers were up to but the wording on the sign is a bit misleading its more for unregistered bikes who have to ride illegally to fill up there but as usual they group us all the same
  18. Ohh yes that road is good went over there myself today the photo above was on Llangynidr mountain looking towards Llangorse lake
  19. Got to M.O.T the bike tomorrow which reminds me i better go and see if it still starts and Sunday i might be getting a new stick welder so probably getting UV burns and arc eye the rest of the day lol
