  1. @MooN I know exactly what your talking about but for me its just internet based, face to face i'll talk to anyone.
  2. I'm too busy to go out, the lock down is really helping me get things done I've been putting off for years quite enjoying it ?
  3. Staying on the subject of helmets years ago when me and the wife used to go out on the bike i'd chain the helmets to the wheel of the bike so we wouldn't have to carry them with us, This one particular day we stopped at the seaside and went for a walk about and when we got back to the bike later i put the helmet on and it was wet the day was dry so in the few seconds thinking why is it wet the smell hit me something i'm presuming a dog had pissed inside my helmet and i had to ride home with it? I make sure the helmets are off the floor now when i lock them up
  4. Work has been pretty normal for me all through this, and I've been practising social distancing for years so no change there lol just haven't been able to ride the bike ? seriously thinking of leaving the van home one day this week and taking the bike in just to see how it goes after all the work I've done on it.
  5. The thought of that moment for you has me welling up a bit here Bob for some reason, it must have been a great feeling, i will say you ride a lot better on the trails then most of my two legged friends it certainly doesn't hold you back ?
  6. Your only saying that because your tub uses a 1000L of diesel an hour before you open the taps what i'm saying is they should get rid of the tax on road going vehicles and put it on fuel so everyone contributes but as Alan said that's too simple to work
  7. No it just dissolves in the water that's why i think i had to repeat it and i washed it out shaking vigorously each time about 20 times with clean water
  8. Yes and all the tax dodgers will be paying as well
  9. Too much that's how much. I recon tax should be transferable from vehicle to vehicle i have to tax 5 and do a few thousand miles a year yet you can have something that's almost tax exempt that can do 50000 mile a year don't make sense Its about time it went on fuel so you can pay as you drive
  10. I flushed the cooling system on my old Africa Twin this week, when i drained the expansion tank it stayed blue up to the high level line so wouldn't have known if it was low just by looking at it. I started thinking of ways i could clean it, went through the wife's cleaning cupboard and after trying a few different detergents unsuccessfully i found this stuff Its quite a coarse power so got an idea of how it might work, poured some into the expansion tank added some hot water and spent the next few minutes shaking it vigorously and to my surprise the stain started to disappear flushed it out with hot water and repeated the process. I think i got a good result with it, i just wish i had a before photo to show how bad it was.
  11. I don't think we have a version of your american rock ?
  12. Bob is probably the best one to answer this i tend to leave everything stock on my bikes where i can. He's bound to know someone who's got one of these
  13. How old do they need to be for that @Tym
  14. Nothing wrong with a serow many have completed round the world trips on them. I had a go on the 225 serow a few years ago nice and easy to ride unfortunately i overloaded the poor little thing
  15. You got beaten up by a woman in Dumbarton some of those Scottish girls are rough
  16. I've experienced the wet but the locals were all fine
  17. If it was Bruce would be fucked
  18. I was hoping you would say their shit now i want one more
  19. Yes I've bounced up and down on one in the showroom and it has road bike service intervals 6000 mile intervals plus when it was first introduced it was just under £7000 which was good considering the husky 501 enduro was a £1000 more than it.
  20. This is another bike I've been lusting after. ticks every box for me except for the Husqvarna/KTM badge and the rear fuel tank
