Well the dogs going to be out of commission for another week as the powder coaters cant do my swingarm until the middle of next week. I didn't think 158kg was that bad it's lighter than the dominator and only around 3kg heavier than a husky 701 what i would consider a modern equivalent, although if you swapped the boat anchor they call the exhaust i'm sure it would be 5kg lighter

My bit of silver steel turned up today, It's the correct diameter and has a ground surface so no work to be done on that Just a 12mm hole to drill through i started off with the centre drill And then the pilot hole 8mm hole And final size 12mm easy job really except for my fucking cock up can you spot it. Took it out of the chuck to mark its length then put it back in to cut it but i put it in the other way around so started to cut it the wrong side of the line FFS lots of swearing at myself when realised but luckily its outside the oil seal fucking cock FFS. Time to harden it up Needs plenty of heat and then a swish around in some water the swishing is important I tested the edge of it with a file to see if it was hard and the file wouldn't touch it it's as hard as glass just needs a polish now The finished product, that groove is fucking me off though, i will have to see how much sleep i lose over it to see if i make another LOL.
