When i left school i was the same height but only nine and a half stone no fat on me whatsoever and was very fit, then i had a motorcycle and later on met the wife, it was all down hill from there with my weight

I gave in to my motorcycle seat fetish this week, i now have two seats for every bike i own again LOL, Picked up a seat concepts low comfort seat for the Beta in the week hoping to test ride it tomorrow The rad guards i picked up had to go back as they had built them wrong, the front of the guards were upside down he says he will have replacements this Tuesday and post them out to me, that will be the last of the spending on it other than consumables. I've been keeping a record and i have spent £1200 on parts on top of the cost of the bike to get it to where i want it, although there is still the LED headlight, that might be a Christmas present to myself maybe LOL
-
It's fucking hard to lose it especially when i eat food like its a hobby and i'm not fond of exercise, that's where the trail riding comes in you exercise without knowing it but the costs start adding up if i go out two or three times a week even for a few hours
-
I'm 5' 10" haven't checked to see if I've started shrinking yet
-
Yes you will need your own bike but there are trial riding experiences that supply you a bike if you wanted to try before you buy, the TRF is just a group who help keep the lanes open and will fight the corner of their members if accused of riding illegally when their not and if your in a good group will invite you on organised rides and show you around.
-
Yup that's normal for someone who is 5' 5" LOL
-
Your right there Bob i left the TRF many years ago because the politics were fucking ridiculous for what is just an organised group with like minded people who want to ride bikes off road legally. But the south wales group is now very different there is no noticeable click. i'm one of the admin on the group page and assistant rights of way officer which is a position i would never have seen myself with in the old group, In fact the south wales group is so successful we've had the top TRF boffin's poking their noses in to try and see what it is we are doing that is making the group so successful. Anyone can see it is because we as a group are not clicky and closed off and wary of new comers and share GPX routes on the page something no other group is willing to do

All money again, if you cant afford the track bike you will also struggle to do any regular trail riding unless your good at fixing things when they break

2024 Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono First Look
Sir Fallsalot replied to Hugh Janus's topic in MOTORCYCLE REVIEWS
That's a nice looking machine wonder of they will do a dual sport version and looking at the specs this is a prime example of why i can't get my head around the weight of the Himalayan. it's 151KG and 650cc that's 44KG less than the new Himalayan why ? To sum it up Ducati Himalayan -
Much better looking than the previous one but still can't understand where all the weight comes from at 195KG for a 450cc bike it must be made of osmium. Reading the bumf on it they say it's 7Ibs lighter than its predecessor, i it would be fucking hard to make it any heavier.
