There are cheaper ones Clive which me and the wife look out for but if you go to ones on the scale of the NEC like the Farmyard party or Yorkshire pudding rally it's £35 to £50 they are more like festivals for bikers than bike shows.
-
It is compared to the 1970's yes but most motorcycle rallies here are £30 for the weekend and you don't get an indoor show in fact the Dragon rally next year is £35 for one night EDIT sorry the dragon is £30 it is 35 euro's they list the price in euro's as well because a lot attend from Europe

Their not ripping the real bikers off Clive only the wannabe ones, cos if you go on a bike its free to park

I had a different version of that it was great but packed in on me after a few years. The battery said it was fully charged but it wasn't and wouldn't take anymore charging, a friend had the same one as me and that's still going so it's a bit hit and miss i think. I should get another for when i'm out on the XR as that doesn't have a battery to run my other pump when the engine isn't running

No need to the wife took care of that before she went out this morning

I'm not that bored LOL

Really bored today so decided to waste some time on the lathe, i wanted to make some kind of funnel for topping up the two stroke reservoir on the Beta because when your finished pouring you always get a glug as you take the bottle away and it spills all over the place i could use a normal shop bought funnel but wheres the fun in that LOL. This is it made out of some Nylon screen guides i brought home from work And this is it in use because its a snug fit it doesn't need holding and the end of it doesn't dip into the oil in the reservoir now what else can i do today LOL

I used to tell that joke a different way but it was slightly racist LOL

Had another good run on the Beta today it was a 75 mile loop local to where i live, Last night there were eight riding but this morning two played their Xtreme cards and backed out because the ground was too wet another retired after twisting his knee on the first lane, we had only ridden a quarter of a mile from the start point LOL. So that left five of us all with similar bikes and skill level, it was very wet muddy and slippery with deep water in places the perfect conditions for interesting trail riding. We did have a few showers of rain but nothing torrential like we have been having, On the hill tops it was misty with strong gusts of wind making riding the ruts harder to stay upright than it normally is. There were no other incidents on the ride and everyone managed to stay upright all day but i did witness a few close ones much to my amusement. The ride was flowing nicely all day so no time for photos i will have to see if anyone else on the ride took any. The seat was still comfy and i arrived home with no monkey butt i'm still impressed with it but keep thinking of how comfy the standard height one must be and can see me changing it for one in the future. I hosed the bike off on the way home ready to change the oil. All ready for the next outing now.

I did but after i took the number off the guy in the van first and I've sent him the video, the old dear in the car didn't look right after she was flashed out just went straight ahead oblivious of the van bearing down on her she had a young child in the car as well

Unfortunately they never made my favorite looking bike, when they were teasing us with the return of the Africa Twin this picture popped up what a weapon that would have been if they had built it
