Just been told i'm on my own in work tomorrow which is a result because i'm only looking at two jobs one in Pembroke and one just outside Carmarthen which means i'll be passing M&P's on the way home
-
Its a dirt bike just drop it on the floor when you stop LOL
-
Yup my wife cooks for me all the time but whether i want to eat it or not is another question lol
-
Welcome your in good company here most of the members haven't been active for over a decade

I went to a carvery for diner today and i was moaning to the missus they were a bit tight with the meat but i struggled to finish it all. In front of us when we were getting served were two rather robust young ladies absolutely piling the grub on their plates greedy fuckers could eat two more potato's than a starving pig never knew you could pile food that high LOL
-
Why stop there get him to sort you out with some accommodation as well LOL
-
Yes i did but i always visited them on a Sunday in the past so didn't think i needed to check obviously i was wrong
-
All i can say is i hope @Pedro took his waterproofs with him LOL

I decided to go to M&P in Swansea in the marmite wagon for a run as i need a new helmet for trail riding, i'd like to say the 20mph speed limit was a pain in the arse but i can't because it didn't affect me once, what did affect me though was M&P's being shut on a Sunday now FFS so went for dinner instead
-
I was up at 6 this morning to go out on the bike as the forecast last night said it was going to be dry until 11 this morning, guess what it hasn't stopped raining since i got up and it felt cold in the house so I've lit the fire
-
What year is it Bob and how many hours on it
-
Oh i know all about that my old man takes it to another level, he still has wood laying under cover he stripped out of Quakers Yard grammar school which closed in 1967, when my parent pass on there's going to be a hell of a task to get rid of all the crap he's collected
-
I started the stripping it was hard on me really like this bike just got to keep telling myself the new one will be better. So far I've removed the oversize tank, rad guards, swing arm protectors, spot lights heated grips, 12v socket outlet, sump guard and mirror. All i have left is the front and rear springs to remove but it is as i want it to take it to the bike shop to get a proper price for the part ex. Everything except the oversize tank will fit the new bike so that will be up for sale so i can put it towards a big tank for the new bike that's the plan anyway. Now i'm moody as fuck, so moody I've been snoozing anyone on my Facebook page for 30 days that mentions the 20mph speed limit as that's all I've been seeing on there for the last month and it's pissing me off
-
Would it make any difference if you told them it was for your only fans account LOL
-
I just find i hard to part with stuff the induction heater that blew up the other day took me over a week to throw in the bin after failing to repair it and even then i stripped it of bits i think i might need in the future, if it was a sickness i would have been on life support most of my life
-
Their a good bike Bob hope you get on with it
-
Love the old lathe as well
-
Awesome you bought a classic trials bike LOL
-
I haven't done anything to it yet only ride destroy and service it. I'm just looking at whats going to need doing in the not to distant future, if i had all the parts here i could easily strip, replace and and rebuild it over a weekend just don't want to, can you tell i'm still trying to convince myself to change it LOL
-
So what you been looking at. I thought something like a Beta ALP 4.0 would be something you would like with its simplicity low seat height and the DR350 engine in it
-
This is more of a common sense thing, when i first bought it i went through a honeymoon period and put what apparently is a lot of hours on it (138). Now it needs a lot of maintenance i don't want to do but all expected as i did do some research before buying the bike, if i go by the book i should have changed the following by now gearbox bearing piston and rings (twice) drive shaft bearings con rod water pump oil seal clutch discs All easy enough on a two stroke but it's an engine out job and down time with the bike in bits, so the theory is i by a new bike use it less because the novelty has gone and keep it longer and look after it better.
-
I've not had a go of one been deliberately avoiding it in case i like it because they are so much money to buy for what they are
-
Test there was no test back then as long as you sat facing the handle bars without any help you were good to go not like when i done mine we actually had to ride the bike
