Been working on the Beta since i got home from work, took it out on it's maiden voyage about 21:00 to check everything works, found it had no tick over had to go back to the house for a screwdriver to adjust it as i only took an allen key to adjust the spot lights. Seems much taller than the last one and the stock suspension is a lot firmer might soften up with a few hours on it. Still got a bit to do to it but It's ready for a dirt run tomorrow for a couple of hours first oil change is at 3 hours but after seeing what came out of the gearbox on the last bike i will be changing it earlier than that. Not sure what i'm doing on Sunday yet.

Yes not the best looking i agree but IMS are the only ones making an oversize tank for them this is a classic case of function over form. Been out for half hour tonight setting the lights up balls still intact LOL

Yes it was registered by the place i bought it from but the one thing i don't like about this dealer is he don't supply number plates all he sells is dirt bikes and nobody wants a full size plate, caught me out the first time as i picked the bike up on a Saturday afternoon and i couldn't get one until the following week so ended up spraying a plate yellow then writing the numbers on with a sharpie to get me by. I was ready this time number plate arrived yesterday and is fitted. I'm in the middle of prepping it unplugged every electrical connector and applied some dielectric grease and sprayed all the hidden bits with ACF50. Fitted the sump guard and big tank and heated grips, now i'm fitting the spot lights the hand guards and drilling them for my mirror mount then i got to wire everything up . Still have to change the front and rear suspension springs but i'm going to try the stock suspension first to see if its been improved. Then it's fit new mousses which i forgot to pick up after work today. The old radiator guards don't fit so have to get new ones of those as well.

They are Mitas Terra Force EF this time round, not sure they are going to be as good as the Shinko's on the 2022 bike they gave incredible grip

This is a common relay wiring. 85 and 86 are the coil. 30 and 87 are your switch on this particular relay

Since we are on cars, My eldest brother had one of these when he was about 20, nice looking car in its day but he turned right into a petrol station without waiting for the lorry in front to get far enough away to see what was coming the other way and it got hit side on caved the passenger side right into the gear lever good job there was nobody in the passenger seat. anyone know what it was
