  1. Fucking MOT testers are shit. I had the marmite wagon MOT'd in January with a few advisories one of them saying front and rear discs are pitted, decided to have a look in there this week fuck me there's nothing left on the pads and no mention of them on the MOT cert and i know it's 8 months since the MOT but i have done less than 500 mile since then and this is the state on the pads Oh and there's fuck all wrong with the discs just rusty where the pads were not touching
  2. Baps are just soft bread rolls, butties are bread rolls that usually have chips in them
  3. Biggest problem is no one will tell their friends what they have had done looks shit so everyone goes around thinking they look great because all their friends said so meanwhile everyone is slagging them off behind their back I’m talking about women here men will tell their friends something looks shit even if it looks good
  4. Thats why i hate the cities Clive their over populated and all the scrotes congregate in them, the Sur-ron seems to be the vehicle of choice for the modern thieving scumbag now instead of scooters
  5. I know you like that bike Bob i bet you will be sad to see it go. The weight is one of the reasons I've not bought one, the difference in weight between the crf and my 650 is about half a bag of cement same as your 650 but that half a bag of cements extra weight comes with almost twice the horse power.
  6. It was a Kawasaki, it probably broke down again and it was the last straw for him so he ditched it thinking his story would be more believable as he was in Swansea
  7. Yup Spain being one of them
  8. Don't worry Pedro the UK is not the worse place for bike theft he's just hating on the UK again but you would be foolish not to take some precautions there's twats in every country https://www.bikerandbike.co.uk/uk-far-worst-motorcycle-theft/
  9. Just the front and rear springs i think it's sprung for someone about 75kg from the factory. if your down this way anytime your welcome to take it for a ride as you know there's plenty of local stuff to try it out on for a few hours.
  10. I can only describe it as its like riding a vibey 4 stroke you get some vibration through the footrests but you forget about it in minutes there's no real top end but if you want it its just a matter of fitting the RR pipe and you get the top end without compromising the bottom end torque apparently. Suspension is a load of shit but new springs for my weight transformed it into usable
  11. The wife's frozen shoulder gave her the same symptoms she's had it a year now. I recon she's been putting in some serious overtime on the voodoo doll she has of me for taking the piss out of her shoulder LOL
  12. Its a 300 never seen a 250 although i do know they exist, the seat height is 910mm but because its narrow it seems lower
  13. I quite like them on the Africa Twin I haven't done many miles since fitting them though
  14. No i'm probably getting under the marmite wagon to finish the gearbox job off. At the risk of sounding a bit like Pete for the last month I've had an issue with my left arm, started with a pain in the shoulder and then over the weeks has moved to the back of my bicep and then onto the forearm and back to the shoulder and keeps moving about, but no issue with using the arm other than whenever i change what i'm doing like sitting to standing, driving, laying in bed or getting out i get bad pins and needles from the elbow to the tip of my fingers. And for the last few weeks the tip of my forefinger has been numb. Not sure what will happen when i get on the bike may have a go later today if i get the car done.
  15. ahh now it makes sense Charles Whitman was your farther
  16. I'll have to get it up on ramps to do the filter as it is too low got to drive it onto blocks before i can get the ramps under, the pump makes it easy just pop the bonnet and away to go it takes minutes. Just as a precaution i'm waiting an hour or two after pumping the clean oil in for any air bubbles to disburse as i don't think it would be good for the transmission not sure though so taking no chances. I've changed over 8L now so it will be filter next but i will need more oil i should have bought the 20L drum instead of the 10L
