they still got the side bags on that Indian Challenger RR which is supposed to be a race bike which i thought was odd, then i realised it makes perfect sense its somewhere to hide your shame when riding it -
You only have the Himalayan to compare if you had a go on an enduro bike with a good suspension set up you would see what i mean only issue then is the height becomes a factor feels like your on a skyscraper at first lol
-
I was thinking the same lol
-
Not with the suspension on the XR it has a lot of it and its nice and plush, soaks up so much and smooths everything out, the thing that catches me out is when the front wheel flicks up a rock on its edge and the rear catches it that don't half throw the bike around and makes me sweat a bit.

How was the flight
-
I just realised you must be on the trail lower down than me as there's no walls like that where i was, you wont see the res from there now due to all the trees.
-
I thought they were riding a bit quick for the terrain then i caught the speedo i think the max speed a saw was about 35mph which isn't far off what i do when i ride on my own through there, but not over the rocky stuff as i don't want to be fixing punctures when i'm out, they were on tubeless tyres you don't get impact punctures with them but can buckle a rim then your stuffed

that's no problem i'm sure he likes chocolate brownies aka space cakes LOL

Been fiddling with the Beta tonight, after my tunnel outing i thought i'd have a go at fitting some additional lights to improve the candle fitted as standard, picked these up from eBay for 27 quid wanted something small as the bikes output is low Nipped out for a spin and have to say i'm impressed This is the stock light the camera makes everything look better than it is in real life this is a warm yellowish light not white as it looks here This is with the LED's on with the standard light as well I had a rip over the mountain and i could see perfectly and the voltage stayed above 14 volts so looks like they will be ok for longer rides in the dark And this is probably why the cars were flashing me LOL Got to wire them in properly now as i only lashed them in to test them out, the dash is a bit crowded so might have to move things about to fit the switch or might have them come on with the main beam via a relay haven't decided yet. They are good for the speeds that i do on the beta but on a road bike you would outride them as they don't project very far but very happy with them roll on the winter LOL

They are probably chained together, the bikes that is not Bob and his mate

That's Claerwen Dam and we are actually working inside that one next week.

I just found this video where he lets some air out of his tyre about 5 min in i was struggling to get up on my X Trainer last year and from 13:25 on is what i was riding Sunday must be nice to get given a bike to trash
-
Where you staying tonight Bob
-
That's why i said that because it was a bit crowded there. Although even if you leave a gap you have no idea whats happening in front until you get there. It only takes one to stop to fuck up you line and on that hill its hard to start off on any bike
-
You just don't read the posts do you
-
Something the video don't show is that their going up very steep hill and there are high spots on the ground so if your bike is on one you cant reach the floor like our guy at 7:20 , if they keep at it they will learn what to look out for and get better. But the real problem was the guy that was leading them and planned the route is a good rider he flew up there no problem and didn't realise how green the guys he had with him were, he's taken that lane off the novice route now which is a shame for them because the rest of the lane is real scenic and relatively easy.

You can get them electric as well we used to have a 3/4 drive one in work that thing would undo any bolt or snap it LOL
