  1. My wife don't bitch and how do you know her
  2. I'm off until a week today so just chilling out enjoying the freedom. I was out on the XR this morning clearing some small fallen trees on a local lane that's enough exercise for today
  3. In @Renegade's defense he's an old fucker and his brain is only running at 50% of normal, years are like months to him now
  4. That's the one thing a lot of people are not prepared for when riding through muck you will still be finding the stuff weeks after washing it. I cant be arse half the time and just leave it if i know I'm out in the next week or two
  5. I did have my chainsaw trousers on underneath my waterproof over trousers, they were surprisingly comfortable when riding the bike i may have stumbled upon something lol
  6. I’ve had stainless and ali bits from my local scrap metal yard usually for free but I do weigh in a lot of copper in with them
  7. In a pub called the moody cow near Ledbury waiting for the most expensive fish and chips I’ve seen in a while hope it’s good
  8. My daughter and her boyfriend are off to Austria skiing today and we have to drop the boy off in Ledbury to met up with his girlfriend and then he's off to the Isle of Man with her so me and the wife will be on our own for new year, But thinking about it we wouldn't see them if they were home anyway. And @Pedro just so you can feel a little less victimised the last time the boy went to the Isle of Man with his girlfriend the both of them were taken aside by security and interrogated like you were and his girlfriend lives there LOL
  9. I was off out to cut some firewood i spotted this morning but went to auto parts first to get the replacement bolt for the daughters car and what should i see in their car park when i was there it was a big tree down so i cut that up instead, saved me a much longer trip bloody hard slog on my own Still trying to work out what tree it is, some of it was already cut for me the wet ends of it have gone an interesting colour Annoying the neighbours cutting the pre cut bits to size My wood store is now full finished the day off with the annual Christmas wrapper burning
  10. Knocked up a saw mount on the XR this morning Covered it with a plastic bag with a helmet bag on top for the trip up to Merthyr as it's bloody foggy as hell and a bit damp First tree cleared Rode around this one last time and thought since i'm here just cut it Forgot to take a before on this one it was overhead you had to duck under And the folding saw destroyer now destroyed Then onto this lot My little saw made short work of it all The gulley repairs i done back in the summer held up well to the storms we had. Those two rock in the middle of the stream have been washed there right in the path of the line you need to get up the bank, too bloody heavy for me to move shows the power a stream has in flood I wanted to check out a lane that runs from the end of this one over to Aberdare as i'd had reports of it being washed out, when i got to the top of the hill i was amazed how good the weather was the whole of the valleys were submerged in a thick fog all day but it was blue sky's and warm on the hills Photo taken about 15:30 as the sun was starting to go down Last one before heading down into it to go home
  11. I was out today and no i did not use photoshop or any other photo editing software that is how the camera took it
  12. I take it the directions to the dogging car park were wrong then.
  13. I just had 15 minutes of the mother in law trying to tell me jokes she had printed out from somewhere the wife and kids abandoned me and i had to fend for myself feeling
  14. Dildo blue and erect, who's the handsome fucker with the afro
  15. I only done it for her because its weeks before she can get the car into a garage and she needs the car for work, although what i done today was one of the MOT advisories from July
  16. I recorded that not sure i want to watch it now as someone said you have no taste
  17. I changed the drivers side bottom wish bone on the daughters car today, done the passenger side a while back this side was more difficult to get at. To get the wishbone off you just undo 3 bolts and pop the ball joint, two of the bolts you can get at by removing the front wheel the third you have to remove the front bumper the head light, washer bottle and a subframe cross member what a great design. One of the crossmember bolts has a stripped thread now so will have to replace that. It will be ok without it for now as there's another 6 bolts holding it in place. The car also needs the front shocks top mounts replaced but the nuts on the top are rusted to hell and back that's a job for someone else if we get it done because when i was test driving it afterwards i could hear some transmission noise that isn't normal when taking my foot off the gas. Fucking hate working on vehicles.
  18. Has @XTreme reached out from the dark side to move this into ride reports the title certainly seems like his doing
  19. It was abandoned over 40 years ago probably something to do with the coke works or because it flooded a lot, there is a new road to use
  20. Finally got the lead out my arse and dragged a bike out first time since the 28th of September i'm ashamed to say. It was the XR's turn i wanted to check out a road before i start the process of messaging the council to see if it still has vehicle rights on it, and a plod around some of the local lanes to check for fallen trees that may need clearing The road i was checking out is only a few miles from my home and is called black road the bit i was going to look at was abandoned years ago when they diverted the route it was good on the bike as half way along was always mucky as hell. Considering its been abandoned for so long the tarmac surface is better than the roads still in service although the leaf mulch made it all slippery as hell Unfortunately the mucky bit is now a lake and in passible by bike The road is to the right of this tree and the bank i shall return on the Beta to see if i can pick a route through in the woods on the right From here i had a run through he lanes around Pentyrch which were all cleared by the TRF over the last few weeks and then onto Merthyr where i stopped to clear a spindly branch A few hundred yards on i encountered this a little too large for my folding saw but cleared the thin branches to make it easier to squeeze between them, i shall return with the chainsaw for this one And then there was this i could get around but where the bike tracks are the ground is starting to break away and its a big drop off to the right So my trusty hand saw made short work of it Another few hundred yards and there was another branch down so out with the trusty saw and disaster i snapped the handle That saw has been in my service for many years and seen some action i shall be having a short memorial service for it later in the week LOL After oiking the bike over the log i then came to this lot, its getting dark and i have no saw so had no choice but to turn around and will revisit with the chainsaw another day to clear it. There's a gully after this tree where i repaired the path down to it in the summer it's what i wanted to see after all the rain we've had.
  21. been up the district club to watch a few bands good night and a lot of people there for a change which was good to see although there were a lot of coffin dodgers me and the wife were some of the youngest there which is a shame
  22. only two people nominated and one of them is going to lose to a dead guy
