@XTreme any chance of moving our ramblings out of this thread as the vanboys posts are getting in the way

Same as my boy not lazy at all just always tired LOL, i know one of the guys he works for in rock city when he was home and cant praise him enough and always asking when he's coming back but that work is only the odd weekend. He needs full time work to fund the lifestyle he wants so once he's back from the isle of man he's going to have to get real and grow up because we are not funding his lifestyle. If he needs help with bus fares to work or clothing for work things like that then fine but not if the reason he got no cash is because he was out with his mates all weekend.

I know a few people who swore apple was the dogs when it came to computers but after a few years ended up on a windows PC as it is so much easier to work with
-
I know the wife is stressed because she is going through all the paperwork trying to sort it all out because the boy wont do it he just doesn't realise how serious it is for him

Its just one of those things if they make a bike more off road worthy they tend to have tubed tyres unless your paying big money for a bike
-
Because of the debt he might be in it's the reasons he's home early, we just found out he's liable for council tax on the property he was in which is around £300 a month but if everyone went home for half term and he stayed he would be picking up their bill as well because its split between them all plus his rent on top of that and because he left uni last year he might have to pay the last 6 months as well so he's had to quit his job and come home. just not earning anywhere near enough to cover it. It's ok for the students still in Uni once they start back and prove their enrolled the council tax is taken care of

It's a subject that pisses me off, when the new Africa twin came out lots of people were complaining about the tubed wheels and then you had the off road mob saying its better with tubes you should have bought a different bike if you wanted to ride on the road fucking plonkers. A tubeless wheel with the option of putting tubes in if you wanted would have been the best option, i cant see it costing much more for tubeless spoked wheels and to put your mind at rest I've not had a puncture since i bought it in 2016 probably cursed myself now lol

It don't affect the wife's department. she's off on the sick at the moment stressed out with the boy having to move back home and having too much pushed on her in work with no additional pay for the extra work

Starting to sound like you were forced to leave the country because you were running out of places to piss people off

Cheddar Gorge, UK - Motorcycle trip

I tend to ride the Combe when i'm down that way, a bit north of Cheddar and its a cracking road, it's always been quiet when I've been there and there's some nice walks from the pull ins off it. You can also have a mooch in some caves there for free obviously not as impressive as Cheddar but you still get to see the goats defying gravity on the rock face https://www.google.com/maps/@51.3242283,-2.7529524,3a,75y,139.23h,107.58t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sJw2tmPJmxkDCZquXGftqYw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu -
I just changed the front sprocket on my Xr looked as bad as yours but after only 2000 miles so 11k is great
-
What do you want a bigger tank for it will do over 120 miles on the tank it has which is more than you've done in the last 6 months
-
Wouldn't make a difference to me i'm stiff as a board and not in a manly way LOL Even as a very fit lad my body would only bend the way it was supposed to bend
-
That sounds a bit sexist to me wonder if it was the other way around would there be protests lol

Hey I'm quite gentle with the bikes compared to some, one problem is there's a lot of novices buying these bikes to learn trail riding on so with no experience on the dirt they are hard on the bike and then move on selling it as only used for light green laning and the other is the experienced riders buying one to slow down but can't and end up riding it like their enduro bike and smashing it into the ground
